Asus Poseidon 1080Ti coldplate issue, multiple users.

I'm gonna necromancer this thread because it's what kicked my head into working gear and led me to completely resolve my fan/temp issue. So I managed to buy the Poseidon 1080ti that Kyle reviewed, and until a few months ago all was well. Then I noticed that my PC was getting louder than I...

Clearing out the basement of a bunch of older stuff. I prefer to split actual shipping, so prices don't include shipping. Local for me is 14586. Heat is nicepants42. Relevant notes are at the bottom. Jaybird X2 earbuds, $25 Samsung Dexpad, 1pc $15 never opened Thermalright AXP-100R low...

Confused over ASUS subbrands: TUF, Strix, ROG, etc.

Short answer for AMD: TUF 570. If for some reason you want to agonize over the decision, Buildzoid has plenty of blather on Youtube.

    Kill

Welp, my biggest suggestion to you then would be to make it easier for people to help you; i.e. determine your clearance and find a few 280s that fall within it and ask for them. Otherwise you are basically asking people to look up the width dimension on the 280 BIGTX, and then measure or look...

    Kill

Can I clarify what you mean when you say 'wide'? Because I think you mean 'thick'. Unless you're talking about a very tiny amount, one 280 rad is going to be about the same width as another, and I'm having a hard time imagining a case that would fit one 280 but not another in terms of width...

First Time Looper - setup q's

If you're open to changing the case and waiting a few months, you're in a good position to find some good stuff on FS/FT. Black Friday is usually pretty good for general PC hardware and cases (although NAND supposedly increasing due to a power outage at Toshiba a bit ago), but WC is much more...

First Time Looper - setup q's

The HWLabs 360 GTS is a nice, low profile radiator that I'd imagine would fit well at the top of your case. I like the design of your case, which appears to have plenty of room for a second 360 radiator beside the motherboard and you can locate the ports to minimize additional tubing. Were...
