22 cores Intel Xeon Delid + Direct Die

They help a lot, only with the main fan It reached +100ºC in sustained load. I made a plastic duct arround them. We have the same motherboard, initially I put four pulling fans in both sides but the ones on the intel sticker side dont make much difference because i couldn’t fit a duct there and...

22 cores Intel Xeon Delid + Direct Die

I already solved it. Dynatron t-318 + ty-100 fan pushing air (noctua a9x14 hs-pwm chromax can also work) + 2x 20x40mm fans pulling air (if you have more space you can try bigger models) + a plastic duct. If you already have a heatsink try to change only the fans. The fan model and this air...

22 cores Intel Xeon Delid + Direct Die

I have a post about this setup (before the delid) with more temp data, etc. https://hardforum.com/threads/dan-hslp-48-a-powerful-sub-50mm-heatsink.1925480/page-35#post-1043813328 Of course modern cpus are great, but I bought this cpu for 1300$ in ebay in 2017 and it is still rocking in...

My goal was to use it inside A4-SFX with non audible fans. It’s been very loud untill now. I have just set the fan curve to an almost inaudible level wich is awesome!!

Before 84º and after 59º!!! For a single cinebench run. Im pretty amazed by the result. Im stressing it with a long run cinebench r20 test 500 seg (It has already peaked 6,723 points on cinebench R20) 65ºfor a long stress test on this chip is like science fiction for me. I started with +...

22 cores Intel Xeon Delid + Direct Die

Its having perfect contact, with the asetek aio cooler. It’s such a big chip that it is almost the same surface than a his, so Inthink that the pressure is well distributed.

I just tighted the screws the same amount of turns. It’s been working flawlessly for all the afternoon and night. The chip is slightly higher than the mounting and it is getting good temps.

Today I delided my E5-2696 V4 Intel Xeon processor. It’s a massive silicon, with a tdp of 155w, capable of doing 6,723 points in Cinebench R20, still among the best multithreaded modern processors. (It is faster than E5-2699 V4) Thermal gains are insane, it’s dropped from 84º while rendering...

We have a new compatible heatsink: https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/id-cooling-releases-is-47k-47mm-low-profile-cpu-cooler.html it looks very promising.

I have swapped my thermalright TY-100 fan for a NF-A9x14 CHROMAX on my asetek AIO liquid cooler and my corsair sf600 power supply. They may look the same as the regular NF-A9x14 but the results are ASTONISHING. - It has the same quiet operation. - Its max RPM is faster than the regular brown...

Hi Seamon, where did you find those feet for the case?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

With the stock feet the distance between the table and the case is more or less 5mm. It doesn’t matter if you put the fan in pull or push, It makes ground effect so it loses a lot of efficiency. The temps I’m showing are by turning the case upsidedown, so you clear the air intake (or exhaust)...
