Good points made on both sides.
I myself like physical media. My only internet option is Comcast and they're down occasionally (lol) so it's nice to have some physical media laying around to pop on and watch.
I never bought into DVD or Blu-Ray because they seemed to be dead-end formats that would eventually be obsolete. Now that we have 4K, nearly equivalent to the source material, with little to be gained by going to 8K, I can finally buy something...
Amazon, Walmart and streaming services will be the winners here.
I understand the convenience of streaming, but having the tech giants control what you see and hear is very short-sighted.
