I had the same issues with the new drivers The monitor wouldn't display my actual native resolution of 1440x900 and I had to scroll sideways as the whole display didn't fit the monitor width I rolled back and the problem isn't there. Hopefully they fix it up.

You generally get what you pay for, so try to get a recognized, tried and tested brand. You'd rather get a GOOD 2.1 setup than a CHEAP 5.1. and vice versa. Try not to take any shortcuts when it comes to your audio setup as they usually are investments that last a long while. Make a good choice...

Just got the 485's for 65 dollars on newegg. I'm lovin them so far. (My only complaint is that they are not as comfortable as my Sony MDR-CD580's). Nice clean bass, just how I like it. :)
