Well, I just got this baby fired up tonight and so far seems OK. Small 25% overclock on stock voltages just to break it in . Running 3 x 320Gb Seagates in RAID 0 mode with no problems to report as regards the many that are having with this chipset.
2 weird things though :confused:

GTS = lower power consumption for system if overclocking and a shorter card to boot :)
It does also clock at GTX speeds easily......and beyond if your brave ;)
All in all.......best bang for buck!! :D :D
Anyone with the G80 'fog distance problem' .......I.E. objects being greyed over in Half Life 2 should put their concerns in the Steam Forums here......

I just had to RMA mine after 2 months of good use........:(
Over this past week it has become almost unusable......throwing up double and triple left clicks at random when single clicking. Eg. go to open Firefox and 2 or 3 copies open or windows maximising when trying to move them etc etc...
Remember to remove the 2 screws on the PCI bracket also ;) ......this will prevent it from releasing too.
Gently twist the sink a few times till it snaps free.....there is quite a bit of goo on there.
I found it easier to remove after running the card a while beforehand.

Well was a complete nightmare....LOL......but I got there........only 3 Ramsinks falling off and giving me trouble.....but they will hold till I get the T412 Thermattach tape I ordered........hopefully...
I can clock to 620/1000 (using Riva) and gain is from 8810 at stock to 10389 at that clock.
Now......if I up the clocks further....Riva will allow and pass any value strangely?.....but there is no gain whatsoever after 620/1000........
