Hellgate: London - alpha invites under way!

How uncool to spite all the fans at Guru and then go elsewhere to give them away. You have rabid fans who have been following this game from the day Flagship was formed when Roper and crew left Blizzard, and yet you give away invites to people who haven't even heard of the game. Way to spit...

Penryn Hands-On Workshop Results From IDF

the quad-core Penryn is hopefully my next upgrade (with a new mobo/ram), but i'm scared to what the price is going to be. intel give any hint about pricing so far? will they be reasonable, or insane? and are these 3GHz considered the high-end they'll release or mid-range?

What VideoCard is the Xbox360 and PS3 running?

for those tossing out the charts... the one for STALKER was about whether or not it's multi-core support made any difference when it comes to dual or quad core CPU's. obviously, for STALKER, it doesn't matter, multi-core is multi-core. for other games though, it can make a bigger...

    Tom's Hardware Sold

$15 to $20 million? wow, some people really do throw their money away. personally, i haven't been to the site in years, mostly because i just wasn't impressed with the quality of the articles, and a few made me question the honesty of the site. i agree with the above poster, that while some...

just wanted to confirm that the Asus site does have a virus. Avast caught it and blocked it, plus i've already patched, but just confirming that Asus does in fact have a virus on it's mainpage. good job Asus! you're a winner!

NVIDIA 8800GTX "Will It Fit?" Case Thread

Just thought I'd pop in and mention that an 8800GTX fits in an Antec Sonata case, although It would suck for cooling. But I was having issues with the card working in my main PC (TJ09 case) and decided to try it out in the Sonata PC, which I use because it's quiet, and it actually fit, as...

    Removing Thermal Pad from Chipset

used this stuff for the first time yesterday and was amazed how well it works. this stuff is just awesome, best for cleaning computer parts. heck, also good for cleaning other surfaces, like finger prints on that nice chrome. and it smells good.

    Quietest 120mm fan?

well, i put a few Noctua's in my TJ09 and they are awesome. the 120mm come in both 800rpm and 1200rpm models, with cables to allow even quieter operation, but they are already quiet as can be. i'm hooked on Noctua's products, top of the line stuff.

$899.99 for NEW CM Stacker 830 Custom Painted Case?!?!

the blue flames looks cool, but why not just buy the case and find some great local airbrush artist (look towards tattoo shops) and get your own custom work done. will probably end up saving money and have a truly one-of-a-kind case.

    Silverstone TJ09!

got mine Thursday and put my parts in it yesterday. the case is just gorgeous, so beautiful. the cooling is great, and i love how roomy it is inside, easy to do wiring and fit that 8800 GTX in there. also love the slide out motherboard tray, first case to have that and my god, is it about time i...

    Your Video Card Upgrade Ladder

i won't even guess about things back in those 8088, 286, 386, and 486 days. in fact, i can't even remember 3Dfx stuff. in recent times: ATI Radeon 8500 All-In-Wonder ATI Radeon 9700 Pro (bought week it came out, lasted so long, best purchase ever) BFG GeForce 6600 GT (replace 9700 Pro...
