I went ahead and bought a LG 60PK950 for $1799 shipped. Read the Panasonic is a hit and miss with buzzing noise and decided I not to risk it.

Ahh. Well looks like I will be taking apart the receiver. I have the receiver right now, waiting on the case. From the looks of it, I think it will work, the receiver isn't very big.

From my research I see the MCE receiver has IR extenders which are smaller but can be used for mounting. I think this should give me the results I am looking for. Going to try mounting the MCE receiver somewhere in the case and connect the extenders to it and mount those in place of the LCD...

I guess nobody has this case and the MCE receiver?

I am looking at buying the nMediaPC 5000B case and was wondering if anybody knows of a receiver that can go in place of the LCD panel? Can the MCE receiver be modded to fit? Not sure of the actual size of the MCE receiver relative to the size of this LCD panel. I would like to keep the HTPC...

Yea I am not sure which to get yet either. Though I may just wait until late October, let the price drop some. Not in a huge rush. Though with my luck my current video card will fail the day it gets released forcing me to get a new one ;)

Wow, sorry to hear that happened. Hopefully everything has been working out good since then though. 5 starts to Kyle and HardOCP for helping out with the computer situation. I think I would go nutz if that happened to me and I was out of a computer to help keep me calmed!

Well maybe I should send this back and get the Patriot. I see less than a handful of places selling the Falcons now and when I decide to go raid I would prefer not to mix different drives. Wish things could just go as planned sometimes :rolleyes:

I just ordered one of these drives a few days ago and now all of a sudden they are discontinued at Newegg. Does anybody have an idea of why they have been discontinued? I wanted to buy a second one for a raid setup, but now it makes me a little nervous on why it is all of a sudden...
