Does anyone have their MCSA on Windows Server 2003? If so would you mind suggesting some books to pick up to study with? The Amazon reviews seem to be mixed for just about every book so I figure I would ask you guys :)
As others have previously stated, the Sybex study guide is fantastic. I am using the cisco books to make sure I get everything down and I use the study guide to help further implement that into my brain :)

Yea, if you want to run cat5 switch it to cat6, I am sure a new standard will come out in the future but thats your best bet for now.
Make sure you take lots of pics while installing all of this so we can all drool over your fiber.
Another router isn't necessary, just get a small switch and it should work fine, thats what I use for my pc, my notebook when I have it here in my room and my playstation 2.
Once you get the patch panel installed you can get a tool that helps you identify which wire goes where to help with labeling. Here is where I got mine:

Ok, so let me get this straight, you are using a wireless router without any sort of switch/hub, correct? Is your "hub" your pc (1 incoming ethernet, 1 outgoing?) If so, that is probably part of the problem, try getting a small switch and plugging the router into that and see if that helps...
