yeah, i'll measure it later on tonight. i took an educated guess and ordered that new Thermaltake SFF case with the big handle and it just came in. when i start messing with it again, i'll measure the PCB.
also, this is a friend's build. i figured he wouldn't need such a big upgrade for WoW...
yeah, i took the PSU out to show why i couldn't just stick it in diagonally. if you see in picture 2 (the blurry one) you'll see the support for the bottom CD-ROM. it's not just the support for the CD-ROM, it's also the support for the PSU. it runs directly above the AGP slot on the motherboard...
:(
yeah, i've tried that. i just didn't notice how BIG this card is, look at the comparison between a 9800xt
and this card
on the 9800xt, the screw-in plate sits flush with the card. on the x1950, the card is at least 1/2 inch bigger. too bad i didn't catch that at first.
well, i can confirm that the 512MB AGP version Sapphire x1950 pro does NOT fit an Apevia X-QPack  first of all, it wouldn't even fit in the AGP slot, i had to mod it (as you can see...) just to fit it in the motherboard tray. from then it looked like it would fit until i tried to slide the...
i'm having the same problem right now! i'm doing a leak test and this pump just keeps getting louder! could i get a PM of Hydor USA's number as well? also, i bought my pump from cooltechnica. is that a sign to not get pumps from them?
this is a rhetorical question vaguely implying that the look of this case possibly made you throw up. congratulations on finding that gem of a loophole. will you do my taxes?
11'' x 10'' x 14'' (if i did the conversions right...) isn't really that large, considering that there are bigger...
1. that case is amazing!
2. don't listen to jerks who post unfunny tv and movie lines in a feeble attempt to insult you
3. how much does it weigh?
DUDE THANKS! I really appreciate it. Also, thanks for helping me find cheaper switches. i checked an auto parts store and they had the same ones for $2.50! :D
I'm pretty sure that I understand your schematic, I have a few questions though:
A. is the inside of your hobby box, and A1. and...
Hi Gawds!
I'm a noob that plans to make a light bus, and I'd really like to use 4 of these. I've read several tutorials on making baybusses and the only one that closely resembles what I want to do is this tutorial. The problem is, it doesn't accurately describe how I would connect it to the...
a big thanks to all that posted! this will help me greatly on my case. :D
also, what about that dremel? is the hole cutter that comes with it useful, or should i just buy a hole cutting attachement on my drill?
sup people!
i have a few questions about case creation. i'm planning to build my own case out of acrylic. i currently own a http://www.clearpc.ca/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=32 and noticed that there are screwholes drilled in the back where the PCI ports are connected to the case. i...
i have one dvd burner and 3HDD (one 40 gig and two 160 gigs).
by fuxxed, do you mean that there is a real problem with my PSU or that it's just too much for the system?
