I didn't like the scottish resistance much at first, but the more I use it the more I like it. It definitely sucks not being able to blindly detonate but the advantages of the 14 vs 8 and being able to have multiple groups out at once are pretty huge. And the enemy sticky detonation is great...
Heh, good spot. Why would they sell them to Amazon for $250 or whatever the exact price is, when they could sell them themselves for $300? Amazon won't fill any of its orders until prices go down because none of the card manufacturers will give them cards at the retail price while other stores...
Actually pedophilia is a large focus of this topic, since by and large the characters in these games do not exhibit the traits of grown women, but rather young teenage girls, which is central to the disconnect that many people feel.
This whole topic is brought on by exported culture, not by...
Wow...its funny because the US went through something similar culturally in the 80s with all the hair bands. Music trends especially lag behind a bit in terms of getting overseas, though I think 20-25 years is a bit longer than usual.
On this topic though, yeah I think its creepy, and...
Unless newegg's specs are wrong, the black edition is a ripoff. $20 extra gets you 10 extra MHz on the core and no increased memory speed (that's 1.3% more clock speed). Even the regular to XXX edition for $30 is only a minor upgrade in performance.

These more expensive xfx cards stay in stock for an awful long time now, this is the second time in the past week they've been in stock the better part of a day. Looks like there aren't too many people willing to pay these kinds of prices which is good for the rest of us.
Yeah, he was wrong to enjoy that gaming experience. Next time he'll clear it with you first to make sure its ok.
PCs always go in cycles and right now we've got very advanced hardware but not necessarily the software to back it up. Quad core cpus in general have not been well utilized yet...
Obviously everyone knows that hard drives are much faster than optical drives, but the op's point is that by and large console games can run off discs while pc games cannot and in many cases load times are not as different as one might expect.
That may be lazy porting, having to load larger...
Part of what OnLive touted was their advanced compression and streaming algorithms, which presumably would be far better than anything this would be using. In theory, if these worked as advertised, you could probably have a very good gaming experience without noticeable lag on a 100 mbps lan...
In America nowadays we don't let petty things like having enough money to buy something stop us from spending money.
Agreed on waiting for nvidia though...I do really want an ati card now, but by the time they get down to reasonable price levels compared to retail price we'll probably have an...
I know this has been beaten to death and we really don't need to get into it again but there's a HUGE difference between something like this running on an internal network and across the internet. In no way does this prove the viability of cloud gaming.
