I'm considering buying an used 2407WFP rev. 04 for $490. Is this still a good deal? I was looking for a good 1920*1200 screen, already tried the ZR24w but couldn't live with IPS glow.

I'd love to do that, unfortunately every monitor that matches my requirements is no longer available in any shop. So, I've got the coice between trying to pick up a used one and buying a monitor that I actually don't really want.

I'm thinking about buying this monitor. Can someone tell me how strong this monitor is affected by AG coating and IPS glow in comparison to others (HP ZR24w)? I've looked through this thread but couldn't find a real hint on that.

Could you tell me how to do this? Just asked google but I still don't really have a clue what exactly you're talking about. As for ICC profiles, I made some bad experiences with games in the past, so I actually don't want to use one.

I'm pretty much interested in buying this monitor. Though I don't have a calibration device and I'm going to use sRGB only. Is the sRGB preset useful even without major calibrating?

Really? xbitlabs.com said it was just plastic that looks like metal, if I remember correctly.
