My experience has been smooth as silk (3090 w/ waterblock + 48CX) since the firmware update.
Been playing Metro and Borderlands 3. No stuttering issues at all.
After a reboot, I do sometimes lose display until I toggle instant game response. Not hugely annoying, but still an issue.
Tossed my block on today. Also flashed a Gigabyte BIOS on my Zotac 3090 for the increased power limit. Seems to be working well. Boosting 2GHz reliably.
Alright, so I've got this thing hooked up. 3840x2160p@120Hz RGB. Text looks sharp on the desktop, no issue.
However, screen is flickering black (very brief) every 10 seconds or so. Crap HDMI cable?
EDIT: Nevermind, GSync. Chroma issue more evident now that I've had a minute to investigate.
Not sure what my sales rep. was smoking earlier, but yeah, he confirmed the same thing today.
Did manage to snag an EVGA 3080 on Amazon earlier today though. So there's that.
I just want a fucking HDMI 2.1 interface, please.
I ordered a 3090 from them on the 10th that's supposedly shipping tomorrow, according to the sales guy.
The hold on my credit card had fallen off, have another pending charge from them as of today. We'll see though.
