    FS: Asus 4850 512MB

I'm selling my Asus 4850 (the "TOP" overclocked version) because I recently bought a 4890 from a friend. Looking for $60 OBO. I'm located in Michigan. I've only made one transaction online, so I don't have much heat: http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=66057

    Beat Hazard $7.49 @ Steam (25% off)

A couple more things about the game: It only supports MP3 files so far but the dev has promised to add support for flac/ogg/aac later The file browser sucks (console port scrolling doesn't work well if you have 100+ albums) It's very bright and chaotic so don't buy if you get motion...

    Beat Hazard $7.49 @ Steam (25% off)

This game is like Audiosurf on steroids. Wicked fun. Don't bother trying slow songs, they get wicked hard wicked fast. There are no video options but the game runs in fullscreen at the desktop res for me. No Vsync as far as I can tell (runs at 300 fps according to fraps)

Catalyst 10.x BETA (8.74 April 6/10) Win All

According to CataylstMaker, the fix for 4000 series cards should be in the next week. Twitter's actually useful sometimes: http://twitter.com/CatalystMaker/status/12179839682

    Crucial Ballistix DDR2 2x2GB woes

I ended buying the new RAM (the Mushkin I linked to above). They memtest fine for several passes on the jedec standard timings, but I can't get the to run at their rated speeds. I have a feeling that my northbridge sucks because my system won't boot if I set it higher than 1.26v. Oh well, at...

That's why you have to call. It makes everything go through quicker.

    Bad Company 2 SLOW LOADS

Same issue as everyone here, specs in sig running on DX10 1920x1080 all high no aa/af 10.3a. Luckily the game is pretty good with alt+tab so I just surf teh webz while waiting to load.

    Crucial Ballistix DDR2 2x2GB woes

Nope, there's no charge except the cost to ship out your defective RAM. Actually, I just RMA'd one of the sticks in my 2x2GB set, but I think technically you're supposed do both. I think I might have deceived them somehow (although I should have probably RMA'd both of them because the other...

    Crucial Ballistix DDR2 2x2GB woes

Haha, the Ballistix series must really suck. I've did the RMA before to replace one of my original sticks and the process was quite smooth. I went to the website and got an RMA number, then I called the customer service line. I went straight to a human representative and asked if I could set...

    Crucial Ballistix DDR2 2x2GB woes

Thanks for the opinions, I think I will buy new RAM as painful as it may be. I have a couple Amazon gift cards so I think ordering from there will end up being the cheapest. Is the Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Frostbyte 4 GB Desktop Memory a good set? I could never get a stable OC with the...

    Crucial Ballistix DDR2 2x2GB woes

I bought the set last November when I built the computer in my sig. I had BSOD issues back maybe 4 months ago so I sent in the bad module and received a replacement. The other one seemed to pass Memtest fine so I kept it. Two days ago I had another catastrophic event whereupon my hard...

Any 4850 owners running 1080p on their games?

I am. I'm running most games fine, but I just bought BC2 and I think it's choking a bit (30 average fps, settings maxed, 1xAA/AF). Could be my processor though.

    Rome Total War Gold $5 @ D2D.

It works on my netbook, for anyone who's wondering.

    Steam: The Last Remnant $9.99

It's an okay game but it got a little too stale for my tastes. It's a little hard to get into but the battle system is intriguing and is a nice variation on FF/JRPG systems.
