Definitely a rare beast. Not many of the later cards with the HiNT bridge were fabbed. All the boards I tested, except for one, were Intel bridge cards.
I don't know exactly how it is done, but the card can be modded to use a 4-pin molex connector for power.

That board is a Sony OEM Asus CUSL-LX. It uses the Intel i815 chipset. The NIC chip is the Realtek RTL8139C.
The VAIO model should be either the PCV-RX270DS, PCV-RX2780DS, or the PCV-RX360DS.
