i have 120x5 and 350 watt sub, the sub weighs roughly 250 lbs.. :] it's all about how sensitive the speakers are not about how many watts you have running. The setup sounds great for movies though... the whole house rumbles more than i thought it could. I hit 16hz without a problem...
I do actually.... it used to be on the desk itself sense center and surrounds should be at ear level if at all possible.... but now i have two options.... on the floor (where it's at now) or mount it above the 37" which might take some work....... my receiver has auto eq so i just plug in the...

actually the morning I finally got to test my sub out my neighbor called my cell phone and left a msg telling me she didn't appreciate me playing it so loud that her house was shaking. hahahaha I usually play it loud...
hahahaha that is my FINISHED but still UNFINISHED 15" subwoofer... it works perfectly.... but as you can see it's not black yet... I still have to flush mount it and get the black vinyl layover.. anyway... the sub is 200lbs and cost about 400 in parts.... something to compare to it would...

for movies i don't want a light there..... it's just for web surfing the 37" is soooo brite that it hurts my eyes after a while.... that's the only reason i'd want the light there..... would that light help out?
