I have a 2405FPW as the left wing of a 5x1P with the middle 3 being U2412Ms.. I calibrated the 2405fpw by eye using various images displayed on both and got a pretty good match. These are the settings I ended up with:
2405fpw: R: 15 / G: 25 / B: 32 / brightness: 50
Although obviously YMMV...

Not really. Samsung md230 or manual bezel stripping or using those samsung bezellessish TVs or.. just using projectors for completely seamless bezels is still the best we can do.
