peppergomez, Another option, get the Samsung again, and try fixing the backlight bleed using SILICONE tape. It is very soft and is used to create air tight and water tight seals.

What we need is a backlight bleed mod for the samsung. Eventually someone will take it apart and find a fix for it. Might be similar to the Dell 2005FPW mod using black tape.
