If you guys aren't using it already I'd highly recommend Ubuntu Tweak:

The "Source Center" is an great way to install various things like Adobe Flash. I believe you can even access the Adobe Flash PPA's, for example, if you want to run the bleeding edge versions...
From my understanding as well if you have less then 2 gbs of RAM then yes the 64-bit version is potentially slower but for anything bigger there are potential benefits in encoding, gaming, etc... I've been running 10.10 64bit w/3gb of ram on my wifes laptop and have been pretty pleased with it...

When your a 30 year old gamer like me with two daughters and a wife, you don't have many free moments. When you do and you want to game, god knows you'd better make it quick. You can't afford to wait 5 minutes for a map to load, thats 5 minutes lost you could have been tea-bagging some s@#$...
Please note - Promo ends 11/17 but.........prices subject to change without notice LOL. Newegg almost had my money on the Corsair memory until that and well the whole MIR thing too :D
Dammit.....now I have to debate buying that memory from Newegg this week....it's only 10.00 after all the MIR's :D Newegg I hope you didn't read that comment; wait actually yes I did....please don't become another Best Buy of old.
I remember playing MSGS 1 on a demo disc I got from Pizza Hut LOL. I played that demo over and over so many times! It's funny to think that some people have never even touched this series of games, its essential playing in my book.
1.) Only totally show it off to my brothers whom just both built AMD machines with the Athlon X2 4000 this past weekend. I believe they would be eating my proverbial CPU dust!
2.) I'm gonna have to go with Phenom on this one ;)
Thanks!
