...i do not, sadly.
the gateway 30" did this, but build quality is not long-term. seems to be the only 'drawback' from the dell. pip does not seem to be a feature of most larger screen monitors (that consumers are willing to pay for in large numbers)...(i personally love the feature)
if all...
haven't had the monitor you speak of (hp), but the dell 3011 uses picture-by-picture, not pip (as with the gateway 30")
so far, so good w/the dell though
^ you are right, the speakers do tie it all together. nice work!
it *is* funny to see civilian responses to our setups...the eyes always bulge out
you know you're [H] when...you want the girl to stand out of the way so you can get a better look at the 30" monitor setups :D
j/k. love the setup though
has anyone successfully gotten this repaired by a professional?
i got the dreaded banding and discoloration about a week ago.
considering my options - a new 30 is still pricey, called the monitor place in houston (monitordepot) and they do not repair this particular model. nice folks though
pls...
thanks for the post woodboat...my xhd3000 just started showing the dreaded 'bands of impending doom' this weekend and rather than try the repair ($$$) route, i am looking at alternatives. will miss transparent pip from hdmi on my gateway though :(
nice work. i love big desks. my ideal space is always big enough to open a wall street journal flat on the desk surface. +1 on simple, straightforward construction
