I know I could always order a custom PSU from PC Power and Cooling but that's a bit more than I care to spend. I could always break out the soldering iron but I'm not that proficient or comfortable with doing that. What choices am I left with?

I can get a pretty good deal on them from a friend who works there but I was wondering if they're any good. Also, does anyone know where I can find some detailed specifications on them like APC has for their units? I was looking at the Model GS-975U in particular.
