I tryed to remove the videocard from the motherboard and i broked the whit clip that hold the end of the videocard slot :( can i get a replacement for it ?

I know 512 is beter and 1024 is more beter but for what thos video cards still DX9 and no games require 512 ! so i want to get the new 7900 GTX for my brother wich one should i pick 256 or 512 ? and i know in vista games will require DX10 video cards , so should i wait or buy DX9 7900 ?
