I will be getting Ballistix RAM for my evga M/B
Which of these will work, and which works best for cooling RAM?
1) OCZ XTC Cooler
2) CoolIT RAM Fan
3) Corsair Dominator Fan
Everything else in my system will be water cooled.
Should I get the corsair xms 6400 that is CAS3 or something else that is rated to do higher MHz since I will be O/Cing the FSB a lot? I want to O/C my E6600 past 3.6.
If the CAS3 is OK, then does anyone know of any problems with that memory and the EVGA 680i motherboard? Is CAS3 too much of...
If I get a OP1000 or an Enermax 1000, I will end up with about 3/4" between the back of the power supply and my rad. If the dimensions of the Enermax do not include the receptacles, then there is no way I can get that. If I get the OP1000, then I will have to have the cables turn up and...
I am considering either the Ultra X3 or the Thermaltake 1000w. Both are modular, but the Ultra X3 's12v rail is not split while the Thermaltake's is.
Here is a picture of the back of the Thermaltake's
How are rails usually split up on these connectors? How would you decide what to...
Is there a reason why this doesn't have a SLI certification sticker by it other than SS didn't submit it for certification? Will it power 8800GTX in SLI, 680i motherboard
What are good devices for this? Is there one that can do it all?
All the flow meters I see have 3/8" connection on it. Are there any with 1/2"?
It seems a flow meter would cut down on flow, where are they usually put in the cycle?
What's the best way and place to put a temp probe into...
I have been told I need 90cfm...sounds like a lot of noise. I need to cool a lot....was thinking about putting fans on each side of the rad (pushing and pulling).
JohnnyGuru gave the 750 a great review. How come no one on here really considers the Thermaltake to be a good powersupply. Almost every newegg review is a 5. I was thinking about getting a 850.
Also, a lot of people a mentioning the olympia 1000. But it doesnt have the SLI ceritfied...
Blocks will be D-Tek FuZion (1/2"), 2xEK 8800 GTX (1/2"), Swiftech mcw30 (3/8"), EK NF4 (3/8"), rad pa120.3 or bix 460.
Will the aquaxtreme provide too much flow (can that be a bad thing?)
Is it overkill and maybe too much noise?
The 50Z is magnetic pump, so if it goes into the bottom...
Can a PA120.3 cool an E6600 (w/ D-tek Fuzion) and two EVGA Superclocked 8800GTXs using EK water blocks and a 655 pump?
And, for a separate line would a PA120.1 be enough to cool the NB/SB using a swiftech MCW30 on the NB and EK NF4 on the SB using an alphacool DDC pump?
Or, is it possbile...
