Anything decent around 2560x1536 resolution or so?

There are LCDs, Plasmas, DLPs, Projectors, and who knows what else. What's the best thing ot use for gaming on a big screen?

Are these good for using as a computer monitor for gaming? Good blacks, pixel pitch, color vibrance? Will I be able to read on it, see small targets, etc. as I can on a CRT?

I have Razer DeathAdder. When I click the middle mouse button, my guy goes flying around the screen. Is this a bug or a "feature"? And, how do I disable it?

How are these for playing PC games, when comparing them to a CRT monitor? More specifically, refresh rate? Dark blacks? Pixel pitch? Color vibrance?
