With all the random threads containing a few names/servers, I think it is time we had a thread devoted to finding [H]er's on WoW:

Name: Beregirn
Race: Tauren
Class: Druid
Level: 57 (as of 1-12-2005) [48 was as of 12-30-2004]

When I started WoW, the game seemed intimidating and a bit boring. However, after Blizzard worked out some of the server issues and made the game playable, I reached level 10. Once you pass level 10, the world really starts to open: Chimera flights, warping across the entire world, trade...
I think the webmaster is a Mac Head, but the numbers are fascinating. The G5 wins every GFLOP/MFLOP per dollar and is the cheapest SuperComputer to run.... Still, the new IBM BlueGeneL is amazingly powerful, if not a bit expensive.

Just picked up a copy of Half-Life 2 at the Ames, IA Best Buy 30 min ago. $54.99.... I hope a sale comes in the next 30 days so I can get some cash back.

Anandtech finally did a real comparison of the new Nancona 3.6GHz CPU against the Opteron 150:
http://www.anandtech.com/linux/showdoc.aspx?i=2163&p=8
I thought that sounded biased until I looked over the results. The Opteron 150 is definitely doing better than the Xeon at this point.
First run Ti4600+FX5200 work fine together in Windows 2000. Result? Triple monitor goodness with a port to spare!
Monitors:
Samsung 712N (12ms)
NEC 1765 (16ms)
Samsung SyncMaster 770TFT (slow first gen consumer LCD)
Triple monitors are freaking nice. :D

Anyone know exactly what this thing does? Seems to boost the Vdimm up to 3.9 volts.... Wonder how the heck it works. I can't find any reviews, so does anyone have one?

Dedicated AI on CPU0 with dedicated graphics pumping on CPU1.... Wouldn't this remove a giant bottleneck that game developers face? Then again, with only 1/10000 of gamers willing to build dualies, I guess the market just isn't present.
Imagine the complexity of the AI on a dedicated 2.4Ghz...
Not a fan of CompUSA, but this is definitely the lowest price I have seen on an AIW 9800Pro:

This is one small device with a LOT of storage:

For all you other low carb diet bodybuilder/weightlifters, the prosource carmel nut chocolate protein bar is one the best I have tasted. At $19.99 a box for two or more, it is also one of the least expensive:

Picked up one of these for my IPaq. 256MB for $29 is certainly the right price for me:

I got one of these for myself and can attest for the ease of overclocking at low voltages. I achieved 3200+ speed at 1.55volts rock solid. $87 isn't super low, but for a chip that achieves 2.6GHz+ regularly, I think $87 is well worth the gain...

I guess waiting on PCI-Express for current gen video chips (6800Ultra and X800XT) is just like waiting for 925/915 chipsets--useless.

I don't know how many of you follow the general pattern of Tomshardware.com of the past few years, but even when AMD takes the lead, Toms always proclaims Intel the winner because of "other factors." However, the new benchmarks and heat of the socket 775 chips have Toms stumped. In fact, Toms...

I have had some extreme cold boot issues on my NF7-S rev.2 for more than a year now. Do any of you know if it could be my Kingwin powersupply? I have found little information from other users indicating that the Kingwins are bad, but I can't figure what else could be causing the odd behavior...
