OK, I'm new to folding. I just built a new rig, Phenom II (six cores!), with a Radeon 5770. I have the smp client running thanks to Zero82z's awesome guide, but I'm wondering - is it possible to run a GPU client along with the smp client? Is that worth doing? Is there a FAQ that I missed that...

Linux server at work - it doesn't do a whole lot, but it's always there when we need it!
Back in the early 90's, a friend gave me a copy of Descent on a floppy to install on my spankin new Pentium 90. He told me he "downloaded" it from the "internet". I ran out and read everything I could about this internet, and how to use FTP, and Archie, Veronica, etc. I changed my major to MIS...
Yeah, and anybody who doesn't is a self-righteous, humorless douche. Whatever.
Look, we're missing the important thing here. How did these people ever get their CRTs adjusted past 60Hz so they could read the damn forum in the first place???
I have a batch of Thinkpads that do the same thing - screen flickers, machine freezes. Turns out it's the heatsink for the video chip popping loose. I'd check your vidcard.
OK, if it's incoming, and the IP address is 192.168.1.102 (gotta be on your local network), and the port is 1371, which appears to be "Fujitsu Config Protocol"... I'd guess it's your printer talking to your OS. Does that sound logical?
I'm using 2X PXES edition to PXE boot old, diskless PCs to an RDP session - we're using virtual desktops, and it works great for that. As an added bonus, it's free - http://www.2x.com/thinclientserver/ .
Every now and then my Micro Photo will lock up if I leave it plugged in to the USB too long (over a weekend, say). After unplugging it, it won't turn on. I just pop the battery out, wait a few seconds, and put it back in. Fixes it every time for me.
Good luck!
Don't use WINS unless you're still using NT4. It's dead. Windows UNCs work fine with DNS.
Did you try using the FQDN? Usually when my users cant connect to machines by name over VPN, that's what it is. They're trying to resolve "{server}.comcast.com" (or whatever) instead of...
I read it again. It didn't get any better. Did you have a point, or did you just feel like going on a "Google is evil" rant? As was said earlier in the thread; if you're not comfortable with them, don't use them.
One more thing - those of us who think your tinfoil hat is on too tight are not...
