all i can add is that i have to use vsync on games, the tearing kills my eyes. at 1280x1024 with your setup and even another gig of ram, running everything including aa, you are gonna get slowdowns with vsync on :(

lcd are easier on my eyes, i dont feel like i must take breaks and rub my eyes after short sessions like on crt @ 85hz and up. the viewing angle thing on my hyundai l90d+ is still kind of annoying but overall im very happy with the transition. games don't ghost either :)

i dont have the issue that you do but all i can say is hyundai customer service sucks ass in usa. it took a while to get my first replacement and the person on the phone stunk. and they never followed up on my numerous requests to rma the replacement which was supposed to be hand tested...

i been playing bf2 on l90d + with dvi and i do not notice any lag from the monitor and unreal looked awesome as well. thats the reason i havent even looked into other lcd's for months, until the next big thing, because it works. and i have seen slightly slower panels and definately noticed...

i have the monitor, sorry i cant help you. if i shut down the computer and switch cables, the picture shows up just fine for either connection.

i think what happens is you overanalyze your new monitor early on, but if its a soundly built one you just deal with it. gaming the thing shines in all my experiences thus far. there might be better looking monitors techincally speaking. but i kick ass in battlefield 2 and other action...

i have not seen that happen on mine. my monitor has other issues though, im waiting for hyundai to answer me back after i faxed them the rma papers last week. they are supposed to hand check replacements and pay for shipping to give me a new one first, then i can return this one.
