Anyone know of a good video editing software for windows?
Don't need anything too fancy just enough to trim, edit music into a video and convert to different formats (Quicktime, Windows video, etc), maybe a couple of transitions oh and able to rotate the video angle too
Did you add rubber rings to your fans when you mounted them? that would help in reducing the vibes your getting. I do that to ever comp I've ever built if they need them or not no matter the quality of the fans/case
That did it, got it working after I found how to change the registry and changed it over in Bios as well. I still think my older bigger drive is too old for e-SATA to show up but atleast I can just have a single caddy and hook up my naked younger drive to the e-SATA
AHCI isn't enabled, I did enable it but system wouldn't boot using the drives. I think I saw somewhere it may need to re install OS with it enabled for it to work
Seems that only 1 drive shows up after about a min but the other doesn't. Could be the older bigger drive may nit be compatible but the small newer one is. May just end up getting a drive caddy and using USB
will change cable just to make sure though.
Hi there folks I finally got a Molex to Sata power connection so I could hook up the e-sata ports on my Lian Li BZ-S01 media card reader but I seem to have a problem.
My thinking was that I would be able to hot swap any sata drive though this e-sata port using its cable. I got a Maxtor...
LED strips are well cool inside this case, is what I have done with mine as I felt that CC's over powered it all as I didn't want to get another sun tan while using my system. Should be pics of mine earlier in this thread somewhere & lastest pics on my flickr account too...
Finally got the Lian Li EX-553 SlimCD 5.25" Bay Adapterr & Lian Li BZ-S01 Media Card Reader. Took so long cause of a combination of waiting stock from suppliers and then the bad weather up there in Scotland but bits are finally here. Will be doing the finally installation of everything this...
I've not seen my 480 go over 44C on GPU / 38C on Ram but I'm not over clocking or doing anything high end with my rig. Everything fits in nicely with my rig, only thing I was a little worried about was how long the 480 is and where exactly the graphics card was going to end up once I put it on...
Yeah I will hide the cables, I've turned the HD round just like yours the wires you see there are the ones I made for my LED strips which I'm going to either connect to a swtich at the front of the case at some point. I just made sure I had good lenghts so i wouldnt have to pull it apart later on
Has anybody had this happen to them, not using the computer at all and then suddenly the browser will pop up and it will be go to the download page of Windows Live Messenger 2010 download page as if I'm wanting to download WLM 2011 again.
This is a new system running Win7 Home for about 1...
This is how "The HIVE!" currently looks, still waiting for the Lian Li EX-553 SlimCD 5.25" Bay Adapterr & Lian Li BZ-S01 Media Card Reader. Going to mount the switches on one of the 5.25 Bay covers too. Going to do somehting about the light leaking though the bays too & hook up the LED's for the...

yeah i think white would look decent in that myself, hell if you want a different colour you could just use a tinted coloured plastic to change the colour instead of getting new LEDs
Where did you get the smoked window btw?
definitely use your own fans on H50/H70 and I'm used to having 6 80mm fans going on my P4 system before he died.
Also found that the screw threads on the H70 seem to wear out quick, at the moment I have 1 maybe 2 screws that don't "catch" on to the threads. I probably over tightened at some...
Tubes: are pretty flexible just don't put any "kinks" in them
The tubes on the end of the Heatsink end do twist/turn abit
Installing: I would pretty much tighten up the bracket enough so that you can get the pump head into the bracket, then turn the pump head so that the "teeth" in the...
Yeah i have noticed its pretty tight up the top there with my case. I got a strip LED wrapped around my top exhaust fan and I couldn't close the top without taking the fan out, putting the top on and then screwing in the fan with led strip on.
I've read the manual cover to cover and it makes no mention of this bright led. I just hope its cause I'm not using 3 sticks of ram that its gone out as one of the memory sticks i got is bad and using system till i get replacements
Hi there folks just a little question.
I got the above mother board and I was wondering what exactly does the little BRIGHT blue LED just under the DIMM sockets means?
I've been testing my rig and found a dead stick of ram so I'm currently running just 2 sticks till I get replacement...
Reseated the processor and H70 as I have read that sometimes the processor not sitting right can cause the problem I have been seeing with it not seeing all the memory installed. Seems to be a problem with ALL X86 motherboards from what I can tell.
BUT seems that my memory problem is a...
just another quick question, if reseating the H70's heatsink is it best to clean it off completely and re apply thermal paste or can you just put it back on. I seem to be having memory problems (6Gb installed only detecting 4Gb)
ok folks, I've done the 1 at a time DIMM test and one of the DIMMS could be bad, I say could be cause when I booted up from this stick it took longer to boot than the other 2 I tested first. It got stuck on the ExpressGate screen on my Asus and I had to power off and on but then it booted...
Finally hooked up the Yellow LED's to the PSU so getting the full 12v now
I may put in a ccf to brighten it up some more but I liking how the LED's on the fans worked out.
P.S you know what now looking at the previous photo of the Yellow and blue LED fans the blue is kinda growing on...
been very interested in this thread as I have just got myself a H70 in my new build. At first I wasnt even sure if the pump was working cause its so damn quiet, i was scared :D Only thing is that you mentioned that your radiator gets warm but I've been "touching up" mine but I don't feel any...
ok putting everything back to default (AUTO) and see what happens, thanks for the tip
is there anyway that I can test out the memory sticks to see if there is a bad one or not?
Ok folks I think "The HIVE" has a problem....
It seems that from a cold boot alot of times it only sees 4Gb memory and not the 6Gb Memory I've installed, but once its been on for a couple of mins and re booted a couple of times it sees the 6Gb and boots into Win7 64Bit Home.
Mobo: ASUS P6TD...
