Not sure if this explains it, but most companies today are multi-national. I believe Microsoft has a couple (if I'm wrong I apologize) of offices in the EU.
I love that. They're basically stating it's HD DVD fault for releasing a complete product, while theirs was only 50% (assumption) complete. Talk about blame everyone else but themselves for their mistakes....

If you have a mortgage (since I'm from New England, I'll use avg hosing prices around here) of $300,000 which is around say $2000 a month. Can you afford another $800 to $1400 a month to rent an apartment? Now add in all your other monthly bills on top of this.

1. Quest bugs. Why are lvl 25 quests that have been out since release bugged now? ex. can't click on a chest, Darkcloud Pinnacle.
2. Sound bugs. Any sound that is more than 1 foot away from my character I won't be able to hear. Certain spell effects won't...
