Im interested too, what sort of performance impact does the secondary monitor have? What sort of settings can you have the game set to when running at 2x 1280x1024(standard ratio for those with dual monitors) etc with the new cards.

You think setting the resolution on one monitor in Ubuntu is bad? Try getting dual screens working. Ubuntu is good and a big step in the right direction, but until they get rid of having to go anywhere near the console and a text editor to get dual screens working i wont go near it...

BF2 is not designed to be realistic. Its designed to be an arcade shootem up on the battlefield. Therefore, all units and weapons are designed with gameplay in mind ;)
