This is an issue with MANY MANY LCD screens. Just looks like uneven lighting sometimes called backlight bleeding. I doubt you do much better if you did an exchange so I'd turn the brightness down a bit and play games with brighter colors. :cool: The Dark One

Unless the display was given to you free as a gift, there are no circumstances I would accept a dead pixel on my screen. You work hard for your money and the least you can do is get a non-defective device for it. A minor scrape on your pc tower or a scuff on your keyboard are trivial matters...

Yep I'm using 70hz refresh rate. It was originally at 60 but when I upped it to 70 I had no issues what-so-ever. I am currently at work but when I get home later I'll run a few more tests to see if I can see these so-called red trails. We'll see... The Dark One
