Is Dirt Rally worth it for $8? It has very positive reviews, unlike Dirt 4.

I have a feeling that over the past couple years, the cheap Steam keys one can buy or get for free with sites like Humble Bundle and GMG take away from the winter and summer...
Pretty good list, some of the games which I picked up over the year when they went on sale. I'd also like to see how the top 100 match up with their Steam ratings.
Normally, the summer and winter Steam sale threads have dozens if not scores of pages of posts. This one petered out at 3. I guess the sales weren't that good. I found better deals on GMG and CD Keys. Steam needs to up their game!
If you ever ship something via USPS and they ask you what's in the envelope, it it looks like it might just be documents, tell them that's what it is. The rate is a lot cheaper than telling them you're shipping parcel.
A friend told me Euro Truck Simulator 2 (which is on sale today) is really good. For those who have it, which option do you think I should get, just the bare game or one of the expansion pack packages they offer? FWIW, I've never played a truck simulator game. TIA.
My Overlord monitor hits 120 Hz but slightly whines on certain white screens. I think these QNIX monitors are similar in build material as my Overlord.
Great to hear you'll be back to run such a thread.
Yeah, sucks about Steam/Valve doing that this time around. Honestly I've been getting way more games via things like Humble Bundle or free Steam keys that are given out every so often on Slick Deals.
True about the chest straps being a PITA to wear.
Well about the kinetic power part. I have a Seiko dress watch whose battery doesn't need to be replaced b/c it runs on kinetic power; the swinging of my wrists. Now obviously that uses a lot less power than a smart watch would. But maybe...
Funny how the FrozenCPU site is still live. I guess it will continue to be until they stop renewing the domain. Perhaps the ModMyMods folks should buy out that domain and redirect the traffic to their new site.
Just to update the thread (and it's been a while), I shipped my package via USPS in early Dec. It was 1 lb and 14 oz, so just under 2 pounds. From TX to MD, it cost $8.70. Damn, that was a bit pricey. Dimensions were about 2/3 of a shoe box, basically large enough to hold a pint glass and I...
How accurate is the heart rate monitor for these smart watches? A couple friends who have Fit Bit that have this feature say it's crap. The only reliable ones seem to be those Polar devices that hug one's chest.
I guess tracking your sleep can be equated by how much you toss and turn during...
That's good. You have a smart watch so you found out its usefulness. I'm not sure what brand of smart watch you have, but I guess a waterproof one if you use it in the shower. Are the Apple SWs waterproof? Just mentioning Apple since the thread did.
If a smart watch could fully replace a...
I'm trying to think how often it would be the case for someone to have a smartwatch on them but not a smartphone. More and more, people are literally tied to the hip with their smartphones. So a smartwatch just seems like a waste of money for redundant notification/alerts.
That sucks, but now you know. :( On that note, does anyone with shipping experience with USPS or UPS know how much would it cost me to send something about the size of a shoe box that weighs 2-3 pounds from TX to MD? (Even 1-week shipping will suffice.) I'm guessing $5-10, but wanted to see...
