ya i removed the video card, the psu is still whining. also i found out that the fan doesn't start up at all!!! this is definitely defective :(. arg another rma with newegg, still trying to decide to get replacement or just get a refund. thanks for the help guys. i tried this m12d with two different computers i7: evga x58 with 9800gtx AMD X2: asus A8N-SLI with 8800gtx Both produced the same result (whining and buzzing sound which is driving me crazy :( )- sacraster

I got in the newegg deal for seasonic m12d and I need help with this psu. This psu is constantly giving out whining and buzzing sound either my computer is on or off (i try with different computer, same result).
