Hey I was wondering if there is a way to set up a USB drive letter to remain constant. I use a portable hdd to backup my system every night and the backup uses drive letters. So I want to make sure that portable hdd has the same drive letter no matter what, is this possible?

well if this has been answered sorry, but i did search for awhile. anyways I have just learned about ffdshow and its magic. But it doesnt seem to be working with windows media player 11 when playing dvds. It is however working with avi files played with wmp so maybe I just haven't discovered...
