The reason I say Best Buy is because I have a bunch of Reward Zone certificates, and it'd be great to get a monitor really cheap. :P I currently use a 32" Sharp HDTV(32GP1U) for my monitor, but I want something better with text since this TV suffers from bad text when its a dark color over a...
Just need a quick favor to ask to anyone that owns this TV.
I'd like to see what red and blue text looks like from this forum on the 32GP3U. I want to compare it to the 32GP1U since I heard this was fixed. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could take some photos!
Thanks in advance.
Looking for a 1920x1200 monitor(2560x1600 sounds a little overkill). There's nothing wrong with my 32GP1U, I'm just looking to get a monitor so I can just strictly use the 32GP1U for TV/Console gaming. Also, I'd rather have a monitor that does text better than the 32GP1U since it sucks when it...
My current rig is over 3 years old now, and I believe it's time to get a new one. WAR is coming out soon anyway, and that's one reason why I want a new rig. Please save me the "it's cheaper if you build it yourself!", because I know :P I'm so out of the loop on what the best everything is...
I was just fooling around on their website putting rigs together(looking to buy a rig in the future), and I noticed that they have performance bars depending on which CPU/GPU you choose.
Comparing the 4870 to the GTX 260, they list the GTX 260 as 3 times the performance. They even list the...
She doesn't do anything special other than your basic web/email type stuff. She currently has a Dell desktop which is a piece of junk. :\
I want to get her something that wouldn't be loaded with trial software or stuff that'll slow it down that most retail computers come with. Are there any...
Said to be available in Q1 of '08, "The AMD FireStream 9170 will be the world's first Stream GPU with double-precision floating point technology tailored for scientific and engineering calculations. Competitively priced at an MSRP of $1999 USD, it features up to 500 GFLOPS of compute power...
I've noticed on my Sharp 32GP1U that red(or similar related colors) text tends to be blurry compared to other colors.
Is there any reason to this? I've only noticed it when I'm using my PC and using this for the monitor.
Just recently I've noticed some fan 's RPMs seem to be fluctuating up and down over and over. I've never noticed it before, so it had to have just started doing this.
I have an ABIT Fatal1ty AN8 SLi, and I think it's these fans that are doing it.
I just recently purchased an x1950 Pro a few weeks ago, and soon I'll be getting the Sharp LC32GP1U 1080p HDTV. Right now I use a Dell 2005FPW @ 1680x1050, so will running games at 1920x1080 require that much more power? It doesn't seem like a big resolution size increase, but you never know.
I just recently got a new router(BEFSR41 ver4, older one was ver2). The old one had problems connecting or had problems staying connected. It would act like it would reset itself every 14 mins, and AIM would disconnect/reconnect every time.
Now with the new router, it works fine and all...
