The matchmaking times seem to have improved this morning, but it's not very good about find a full or even numbered team. The rest of the issues are untouched. There's still a 50/50 chance of having to force quit Halo after each mp round, or possibly hard reset the Xbox because it sometimes...
It's an absolute disaster, a total failure of a launch. The matchmaking simply doesn't work. If you do manage to get into a game (maybe once an hour if you're trying with a party) it will be with an odd number of players and at the end of the round everyone in your party will be disconnected...

If I remember correctly, most of the dialogue options in Fallout 2 ranged from good/neutral to 110% sarcastic apathy. The "evil" options consisted of you manually targeting the npc(s) and killing them. That was one of my favorite parts about the game, 99.9% of it was optional side quests, and...
I'm selling my Lenovo y500 laptop. I originally purchased it in March for deployed gaming but I just transferred to a unit that doesn't deploy so I'm selling to upgrade my desktop instead. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the laptop, it comes with the original box and documentation as...
Even if you're deployed to a place where they offer wifi in your barracks/dorm/hut/tent, Microsoft is limiting the connection to certain countries anyway. They don't want deployed service members to buy their product, simple as that.
Can't really see any military members ever buying a Xbone, it's a complete waste of money for anyone who deploys regularly. That's ~1% of the US population that MS wants to convert to the ps4. Crazy.

I've been trying to sell my 60gb Playstation 3 on ebay and the [M] with no luck. It's in mint condition with the original box, instructions, and cables. It also comes with an extra controller, component cables, a 6ft HDMI cable, ps1/ps2 memory card adapter, Resistance...
It's not a charity, someone has to pay for the development and maintenance costs of such a huge network infrastructure. Not to mention the bandwidth that voice chat and matchmaking probably requires 24/7/365. Sony decided to leave that up to the developers, just look at all the hoops you have...

Oh man, I hope this is the setting for Fallout 4 :D
How can CoD4 rip off a real place? That's what the ferris wheel, swimming pool, apartment buildings, etc. actually look like.

2004 was the golden year imo. So many of the great games this year are follow ups to the big guns in '04:
Far Cry
Half Life 2
Unreal Tournament 2004
'04 also brought us:
World of Warcraft
Rome: TW
Doom 3
The Sims 2
Dawn of War
Thief 3
This year definitely comes in second though.
I think the two coolest things that stood out in there are 1) you can distract nurses using light & sound and 2) the world will transition in real time just like in the movie. I wish there were more next gen survival horrors.
The graphics on the 360 are amazing in 1080p, but the gameplay just seemed average. I parachuted into the back corner of the German HQ and just crouched behind something and picked every enemy off one by one as they came around a corner. The fact that so many long-distance shots don't register...
