I find the story of AF implementations quite ironic, to be honest. Nvidia had great AF with NV2x/3x, then went backwards with NV40 and now finally have good AF implementation again. And everyone is going: "Oh man, finally got AF that's... well... better then we used to have 3 years ago, score!!!"

Could some of the kind G80-blessed guys do me a huge favor? Namely, could you run the Fillrate tester and Archmarkand post both the No AA/No AF and 4xAA results for each?

I must have missed the huge wave of excitment over the faster-clocked G7x that is 7900. I do know that excitment for NV40 didn't exactly end when R420 came out and the excitment for G70 didn't end when R520 finally showed up...

Yeah, for you to be able to pick the card up yesterday the drivers must be around 4 weeks old, minimum.

LOL, I am not exactly explaining this cleary... F.E.A.R, 1600x1200, everything maxed out, 16AF 16N AA. Also, if you could run Shadermark, that would be great. :)

Sorry, forgot this part: N(ormal) = 4Z/S; Q(ality) = 8Z/S... So, 16xN takes 4 Z/s samples (like 4xMSAA) but does 16xAA on the edges, while 16x8 takes 8 z/s samples.

Hey Mike, There should be two CMAA 16xAA settings, one with 4 and other with 8 z/s samples. Looks like you are using the 8x setting - can you run the test with 4 z? Also, could you run Shadermark? ;)

Hey Mike, what recent games DO you have? That way, people might stop asking you for benches that you can't run. Oh... One thing that I'd love to see is ShaderMark. Could you please run that?

You are getting higher then 40/76 in FEAR with all settings maxed out at 1600x1200 + 4AA/16AF?

Because of how retarded the 3Dmark06 is. Graphics benchmark my rear end - the CPU score is the biggest factor in the final score AND the SM2/3 scores can get CPU limited as well. Edit: Damnit, yevaud beat me to it.

Wow, that's pretty lame of MikeC over at nvnews. Against WHAT NDA rules? Mike686 didn't sign any NDA and thus they don't come into play. MikeC is just pee'd that his thunder is getting stolen. I hope that his thread becomes the offical GTX benchmark now.

Another potentially stupid suggestion, but have you tried a diffrent USB port, particulary one driven by a diffrent controller?
