Brilliant.
Clearly from this particular thread, the viewpoint and intellect of the average 'american' is clear for all to see. Now that China seems to be overtaking you as the leading economic force in the world, and you are already quite far behind in the league tables of the top healthcare...
I was wondering if anyone knew if the ati 6550 low profile will work in this? or what is the recommended gfx card - I have been told to avoid passively cooled gfx as not too good with all that heat dump, but am hearing differing advice.
I would love to hear from you guys...got mine for £130...
you will see a big difference - i moved from 2xWD blacks to vertex 2 60gb - and the difference is brilliant.
windows loads quickly, apps load quickly, games load quickly, the only issue is not enough space, but i have windows 7 + fifa 2011 + office and I still have 35gb free...could probably...
Just wondering, it mentions in the initial pages that if you stick to a gpu with <40w power at load, would the 5570 likely to be safe in a 2ghz c2d,2g ram system?!

Can someone please advise if the PSU form factor is TFX? If so, then things might be looking up for me....

Hi,
I am thinking of getting a couple of 1tb hdds, and i have my sights set on these to raid 0.
not many reviews of the e7k1000, but many more of the wd black.
which is better?!
What about this SSD - very few people are talking about it......
1gb cache?
good performance
not too expensive

hi,
just wondering when western digital's 500gb/platter high performance hdds will be out - and do people know if its only going to be in 2tb variants, or will there also be a 1tb variant?
i am talking about those drives with 64mb cache, 5y warranty.
hi,
if i get some good news in 3 months time with regards to my career, im thinking quite seriously of upgrading to RAID'd SSDs.
however, i dont think the price hike is justified to go i7, i may also just buy a new graphics card, and swap my chip to q6600 to OC.
im just wondering -...
completely random, but can i just ask: to make this super partition using the first xx gb from the two drives, does this need to be done in vista using the intel matrix tools? ie. on a system with vista installed, use the matrix driver thing to make the matrix raid drive, and then i can just...
i am currently using a pinnacle 7010ix dual dvb-s dvbt tuner and once i managed to get it working, it has worked flawlessly!
im thinking of spending ~£200 on hp slimline - intel e4400 or athlon64x2 5000, 2gb ram.
the question is - will i definately be needing a standalone graphics card, or...
hi,
thanks for all the input folks - but wouldnt that defeat the whole point - using a 45w tdp cpu?
are these boards not a little too powered for me?!
sole purpose is to sit beneath my tv, play satellite hd channels to my tv, play usb and networked films tv programmes etc, record tv...
hi,
i know nothing about miniITX, but i think its the way i want to go.
here is what i need:
a media centre that is wireless, will decode h264 at 1080p, will receive dvb-s2 signal, and will allow output to a tv via any of hdmi, dvi, composite.
now, where do i start?
im thinking...
dude, can you just clarify that you are able to run your system at those temps using
1x 120.3 black ice GT rad
2x 120.1 rads
1 pump?
its just that im considering moving to 280 from my 8800, and would only do so if i can cool it under water and i only have 2xpa120.2's at the moment (i...
hi,
i have bfg 8800gtx oc, and recently temps have shot up for no reason at all (ive cleaned the cooler with air too), to idle at 73C and load at 95 which i know is too high.
so i want to get the hr03+, but i need to know if itll work with my asus p5kdeluxe wifi as it has a tall-ish...
it is more likely to interfere with your motherboard than your case, with SATA ports etc. You may not be able to use full-depth 5.25 drives in the top bays. Aside from that it should be ok. i figure that the gfx card should not extend beyond the level of the motherboard tray (its about 1-1.5"...
german by name, german by nature.
this mod shows the highest quality workmanship, and the attention to detail is mind-boggling. Im sure this chap could very easily sell this stuff for quite a premium!
good work!
our radiologists use nice big NEC monitors, but yes they are around 5x the cost of normal monitors, but black-and-whites are clearly the most important things, and it is shocking the differences between non-radiologists' monitors and their ones, because its quite easy to miss some minor lung...
with regards to hard drives, XP and RAID.
I had issues when I first got this board, when I recognised that the install would crash while trying to find my usb devices ( i knew this as the light on my mouse comes on when that has happened).
So, to fix it, i did the following:
1) disable...
yes I understand all of your comments but using that word in this context is not warranted, and serves absolutely no purpose and brings nothing to the discussion. I am neither brainwashed, nor oversensitive, but when people take a misrepresentation of something that you hold close to your...
Mr Roach, i also would like to tell you to think twice before you use words that you have absolutely no knowledge about - you know nothing about 'jihad' and using such an inflammatory word on a public forum that is supposed to be good-natured and family friendly really reflects somewhat on your...
if you have a waterblock that extends beyond the reference placement of RAM then you may have problems - but as i understood most of them just cover the imortant bits, and so you will be more than just fine - the last 2-3cm of the 8800gtx has important bits, but bits that dont jut out too much,
