I am ~30 hours in and enjoying this a lot. Although the combat could be a bit tighter, I am playing on hard mode and really enjoy the challenge; the difficulty feels just about perfect. I think I'm level 14, doing lots of the side quests and running around killing monster nests/bandit camps/etc...

PSA: the game is up at greenmangaming for $29 (in the VIP section). It's obviously a preorder, but just in case someone wants to jump onto the bandwagon, there it is.

I'd be interested in the answer to this as well. I enjoyed the first one, but later entries went really overboard with the anime style and nonsensical story. Is the gameplay worth it in this?

I really enjoy tower defense games but somehow missed Defense Grid. What I'd like to know from those who have played it is whether I should skip the first and start on the second (particularly since many of the sequels in this genre repeat old levels), or if the first is still worthwhile playing?

Another vote for Towerfall. Also Broforce is a lot of fun local. Just make sure you have 360 pads.

I didn't see any new information in that... Surely if you can provide the release date for a game, you could at least provide the order of magnitude it will take for the patch!? Just tell us if it's weeks, months, quarters.. This seems very unusual.

I hate to be "that guy", but not only does this not visually feel like much of an upgrade whatsoever, but why on earth would people shell out for this iteration? F1 hasn't changed, and if anything the sport is in one of the worst ruts in ages.
