im very curious, what did you use to "reform" your dash bezel to fit the lcd monitor screen... my guess would be bondo or something similar...?
how you plan on turning the amp on since (to my knowledge) amps require an amp-on wire coming from a headunit in order to turn on, and you wont have a headunit installed in your car?
so pretty much its like this: you have your power sequencer (controls the flow of power, turns on/off with the car, all that good stuff), and which hooks up to your dc-dc powersupply, which is supplying power to your motherboard, hdd, cdrom, and your LCD?
the power seqeuncer must have to have...
i was wondering if you could let me know how you wired up the lcd and computer for power? Is the LCD connected directly to the battery and you turn it on/off manually, or is it hooked up to car power sequencer so it turns off/on with the car?

that is the 270w mATX powersupply that was referred to in the first reply.. if thats not what you need, then your not looking for an mATX powersupply

I was wondering if any of you have heard of/use someware for linux that will allow me to use 2 internet connections so that if one of them goes down, that the other one will pick up...
I would LOVE to do something like this in my jeep wrangler.. i dont know how well it would work though, being open to the elements during the summer (to an extent) and with the drastic changes in temperature during the winter (anywhere from -20*F to whatever the temp gets with the heater on)

try connecting to the vpn server from the vpn server (so it connects to itself)... if that doesnt work then its a server issue, if it does work then its a network issue

Id recommend unsoldering the wires from the PCB, and then hooking up the green wire to a ground with a switch... mount it on the PS even... always good to have a shutoff switch just in case
