Isonzo, sadly it and War of Rights are the only multiplayer FPS games I have enjoyed in the past year. Maybe I'm getting old but I have been finding it a hard time having any fun since the battleground games became popular. I just don't like those games and since I have retreated to single...
I'll most likely be playing my current favorite Isonzo. I love playing FPS multi with bolt action rifles. I'll probably toss in some BG3. I became kinda bored in ACT 3 and just want to finish it.
My son has one of those Azeron Cyborgs. After seeing your post I asked him about it. He said he doesn't use it but also said he didn't try it long enough to get used to it to see if he liked it. He said I could try it and I think I will. The reviews for it aren't to bad.
I saw one of these controllers in a thrift store for a $1 and instantly bought it without thinking, nostalgia. Now that I've had time to look at it and checking eBay I see people are still buying them and I'm asking "why?" Why would you buy one of these when modern controllers are so much more...
A similar experience is why I stopped selling on ebay. I sold a video card and the buyer came back saying it was defective and ebay returned the buyers purchase amount and an additional amount for shipping back to me. I was furious as I had just pulled that card out of my gaming rig, knowing...
Just to be clear if I wasn't. I would not purposely sell anything without disclosing full details on the item. I just didn't know if there are listings stating something along the lines of, "Item worked when it was pulled" but due to blah, blah, blah, purchase at your own risk". From the...
Great responses, thanks everyone. I have two more questions.
I have a old Cooler Master Stacker 830 Evolution full tower case. It's just been sitting unused. I was about to throw it away last year and then saw they were going for $100+ on eBay plus shipping. So where do you find a box that...
and need some advice on what's changed and best methods to sell/ship.
I used to flip my PC hardware and other items on ebay and near the end HardForum. I'd then roll the profit into new hardware toys. (y) However, after getting burnt by an eBay policy and the price of shipping had increased to...
A couple of years ago I said I'd NEVER get a curved monitor and didn't think I'd go bigger than 27". November of 2022 I was looking at yet again 27" 1440p monitors but with higher refresh rates.
Then I saw reviews for the Alienware AW3423DW and the new Alienware AW3423DWF.... and I was sold...
Have you picked anything yet?
If not here are two 1440p recommendations:
Asus XG27AQMR: 27 inch QHD (2560 x 1440) gaming monitor with ultrafast 300Hz refresh rate designed for professional gamers and immersive gameplay
there is nothing wrong with OLED. I've had the 34" Dell widescreen DFW for...
Flipping between BG3, my new favorite FPS multiplayer game Isonzo and I discovered Wolfenstein Enemy Territory multiplayer is still going strong and will play some of it. If you want to check it out get the ETLegacy version.
ETLegacy webpage ET: Legacy Version 2.81.1 is out...
Thanks Ur_Mom, I didn't know there was a revival of NOLF. I loved those games back in the day. I'm grabbing them.
I'm currently playing through BG3 and for multiplayer I'm loving Isonzo. It reminds me of BF1942 and BF2 and Call of Duty World at WAR merged into one game. I preferred the slower...
This is my experience as well. I will use a controller for emulators, driving and flying but never when on foot or for a FPS. I did use one in Red Dead Redemption 2 only when riding on the horse. When shooting from the horse the auto aim felt like cheating.
Same here Tsumi. Considering I'm in a neighborhood with more than enough residents to support multiple carriers, fiber companies refuse or have a deal with crapcast to never roll out fiber service. It's so #$@% frustrating. 🤬
I have but just for configuring EMUDECK. I haven't tried to use it like as a desktop like I do with my Windows systems.... and I get your point. ;) I just have this weird hangup about using it as a htpc but if it will absolutely work and is a nice upgrade over my Alpha R2 then I should just DO...
I bought the Steam Deck 512 last year and have easily less than 10 hours on it. I have considered selling it however a thought keeps returning to my mind. I've been wanting to replace my 2016 Alienware R2 console that I use as a home theater PC as it's getting sluggish even when web browsing. I...
Now that some personal life issues are behind me I finally have time to really enjoy my favorite hobby again and that is PC gaming. It's been about 8 years. I remember every year looking at the upcoming fall and holiday game release dates, making a list of the must buys on the day of release...
I still subscribe to it and Maximum PC and have....I don't know..... 20, 30 years of issues along with Computer Gaming World, Computer Games, Next Generation, Games for Windows, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Game Pro, PC Accelerator, etc. I became a PC/Console gaming magazine junkie during the 90s...
Bummer, I been thinking about selling my 512 Deck because I've rarely used it. I prefer gaming on my gaming rig and when I went camping recently it was my gaming laptop or Nintendo Switch. Ultimately, its my fault. I shouldn't have kept waiting. This announcement has me considering not selling...
Risen Trailer I've loaded up War of Rights last night after about 6 months and found they added a limited (hope they change their mind) Zombie maps. You have to last 20 waves to get the achievement. If you try I just plan to have a handful of hours available to play. I spent 6 hours last night...
On the fence. Maybe a little GTA4, Baldurs Gate 3 and thinking about trying a Assassins Creed game again for the 20th time. For some reason I've never been able to stick to playing any of them for more than an hour or so.
I've been waiting for this game for 10 years! I see a forum post or article and I'm reminded about it. I get excited all over again and go see where it's at. Today it is still in alpha and still not completed... Guess I'll be reminded in another year or two and I'll check again. :arghh:
I saw this subject and I realized it has been almost a year since I bought my Alienware AW3423dfw. I've had no issues with burn in.
Steps I take:
- Do the pixel refresh on occasion. Maybe once or twice a day if I'm heavily using it. Most of the time Its a drive-by checking email or a couple...
I've decided to give GTA 4 yet another go. This is the 4th or 5th attempt. I don't even remember why gave up on it each time. I am struggling to get it playing fluently on my rig and that is a known issue but its more likely I have a difficult time focusing to one game. Now is a great time to...
While there are obviously dozens/hundrends of games that could be listed. I'm going with a recent game I played. Dave the Diver, while Im on the fence of whether it would be considered having a great story. The game play and what was going to happen or be said next kept me glued to this game...
I think they are at a point where you pick a mouse and get used to it because there is no end to mouse choices if you also steer away from the mainstream brands. Myself, I'm a mouseaholic so I can't help wanting to buy a new mouse every so often. I have a couple dozen purchased over many years...
PC Game collecting junkie here. I severely miss boxed games. One of my favorite times in life was going to a B&M store and browsing the selves and hitting the bargain bins. This is my small box collection. Many moons ago I moved to a smaller room and didn't have space to display my big box...
This, I had the same decision and ended up with the 4070ti which turned out to be a nice upgrade from my 3070. I'm running all my rig off a Corsair Gold 750w ps.
I've bought Dave the Diver on a whim after reading reviews and now I'm hooked. I've sunk 26 hours into it. I will take a break and play either Quake Champions or Golf Story on the Switch. Now that I have a upgraded gaming rig I'm actually thinking about playing Red Dead Redemption 2 again with...
I've been buying gaming videocards since they started making them. Based on my experience, MSI and Asus have been solid video cards. I've never had one die on me. Now evaga cards, while they had great warranties, I've owned two and both died on me. The last one was a 3070 that totally failed...
I went from a 3070 to 4070ti. While I did not like the price at all I am happy I can play all games at a nice click now. Here was my post given some details...
Which Ultima is that?
I played Quake Champions last weekend and again tonight. I was getting absolutely destroyed last week. After 12 hours of getting the hang of it I'm at least not last every game. I didn't realize how much I missed Arena Shooters. I was sick to death of the current popular...
The amount of time I've wasted on deciding on what game to play is simply sickening. Like Nytegard above I now have thousands of games so to many choices is most likely my problem. Back when I could only afford one or two PC or PlayStation games every 3 or 4 months I would play those games until...
I either no longer like (COD) or become bored with current FPS mutiplayer games and never liked the battle royal genre. I started craving good old Arena combat gameplay not realizing they are hurting for new games and player base. I have ended up checking out Quake Champions and Xonotic.
Does ANY recent game come close? Once every few years I'll try a motocross game on PC or console and none have come close in funfactor to the Motocross Madness series. Wish I could explain why but I no longer can. I haven't played them in 15+ years. lol Maybe it's just nostalgia but I don't...
I have a a combination.. 1xM.2, 1xSSDsata, 1xSSHD, 3xHHDs. I have a megaton of games, photos, and videos and I don't want to unistall/reinstall so HDDs are a must have. I did research it before buying my 8TB and 10TB HDD and after seeing game loading times in tests like the one I've linked, the...
I'll never understand WHY they put it in a vulnerable position in the first place. "It is sensitive data so what protections should we use?"...... "Lets connect it to the internet!"
We'll it looks like your going to find out. ;) Let us know what you think. I did notice text is not as crisp as on the 27" 1440p monitor it replaced but I was fine with it. I don't use it work/productivity. It's strictly used for web surfing and gaming. As far as gaming I will never go back to a...
