Urban Chaos (PC). What an awesome-freakin-game! Yes, the checkpoints were few and far between, but the game was addictive, and the story was sweet! The cutscenes were also top-notch!
I also really liked Driver (PC), and Motorhead (PC)
God I feel old!
Yea, I just built a system using the FT01 and out of all the cases I own, this is by far my favorite. Cable management is awesome, the case is nearly inaudible, and overall it simply looks stunning, not to mention that cooling is fantastic. I highly recommend it!
Looks like an interesting layout. I seriously hope though that this case is not a new trend for Silverstone, I mean the case itself looks horrendous! Furthermore, I hope Silverstone continues to focus on their Temjin and FT line of cases, and that they don't abandon their roots of making high...
Hey guys,
I just ordered one of these in black with a window, and I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with it, and if so what are your impressions? I think it looks absolutely gorgeous, and will be sure to post some pics once it has arrived.
Honestly, I think it's a problem with the 9800GX2 (I had one prior to upgrading, and FC2 ran like garbage). Your CPU is fine, especially at the resolution you're using.
I have an ATCS 110 SX1 :D. Anyway, yea the ATC-840 looks like a great case, but will most likely cost a ton... Just like every other high-end aluminum case out there.
Well, The KL03 is pretty good! And yes, I would consider it a full tower case (It's huge!) It has room for 4X120mm fans, and I can attest to the fact that cooling/noise performance is very good. The HAF seems to be a popular case, although personally I don't like the looks of it.
Well you have the Cooler Master ATC-840 coming out sometime in November which looks absolutely stunning. Another case which I think looks great is the Silverstone FT01, it's a standard ATX case but has excellent cooling potential!
OMG!!!!!!!! I almost shed a tear, they're bringing back the ATCS line! The best news I've heard in a long time, perhaps Cooler Master is coming to its senses?!
I think the large size fans, in a small package like this should work out great. From the look of it, there's two 200mm fans and one 120mm fan. Either way, the cable management looks good, and should make for some real clean looking systems.
Hey guys, I just stumbled upon this trying to find any info of if, and when Silverstone might be releasing a new case to their Temjin lineup. So far the pics is the only thing I could find on this case, no name no nothing. Anyway, the case itself looks very sleek (sort of like a TJ07 mini) and...
Although not a traditional RTS per se, Sins of a Solar Empire is simply awesome! I've also been playing Black and White 2, which I recommend. Command and Conquer 3 and Rise of Legends are other options you can look at.
For build quality take the Silverstone (No plastic)
Personally I also think it looks a lot nicer, the Stacker and Cosmos are way to gaudy and tacky looking imo.
Isn't the 8800GTX pretty much on par with the 9800GTX performance-wise? and if I recall correctly, the old 8800GTS 640mb wasn't that far behind the 8800GTX. Like others have said I wouldn't have expected such dramatic increases in performance....
Haha, my first REAL card was a Diamond Voodoo Banshee 16mb of onboard memory, and it came with a copy of Motocross Madness. My next card was Guillemot Geforce 256 32mb SDR... Haha good old times..
So my idle temps are better than most users who responded, it's just my load temps that suck! Currently the case is set up in the following manner: The 80mm is an intake and is pointed directly at the GX2, below it I have a 120mm fan pointed at the cpu, and behind the cpu is another 120mm fan...
Okay so I got my 9800GX2 (PNY) and so far so good. Unfortunately the card under load runs REALLY hot, currently the highest it has gone is up to 96C playing crysis. I have adjusted the fan speed via rivatuner and have turned it up to 70%. My idle temp is 55C. What is going on here? Could it be...
Well the other components in your system could technically have a drastic impact on your temps. Look at the system in my sig, I'm running that in Silverstone TJ06 case, that's it. Nothing changed. Trying just cleaning out your rig a little, maybe getting better fans and de-dusting it. Myabe...
Nope no solution yet, but those temps seem rather high... How many HDD's are you running? I'm running two, and my temps are in the 38-42C range. If you're not running too many HDD's try spacing them further apart, too see if that helps.
I would OC that cpu, pick up one 8800GT (they're like 200 now on newegg, after MIR) and pick up a nice high quality Silverstone case. Also, the TJ02 is almost identical to the 04 except it is silver and has a different bezel design, both have a nearly identical interior setups though. Just to...
Judging by your sig it looks like you already have a pretty solid system to begin with, I'm sure if you look around you can find the TJ04 for under 100 bucks. Also, sundial is the only place that sells the ATC-710, other places sell ATC-200 series cases but no 100 series or 700 series.
No problem. Like I said before the ATC-710 is a very solid, and may I say gorgeous case, and although you're looking at an older 2x2 80mm fan setup, I can attest to the fact that it can easily cool and sli rig (I own one). Heck, I'm running my current computer in an ATC-220 which only has 2x80mm...
Sundialmicro also has some older Cooler Master ATCS cases, such as the ATC-710 for 76 bucks. a steal at that price especially for the quality you're getting. Also you might want to look at some of Silverstone's budget cases: Kublai series, and the TJ02/04
Hey guys, I'm selling my Silverstone TJ09 SW case, (it's around 6 months old) I've been selling numerous computer parts lately (including cases) to make a little room, and to prepare to finally move out of my parents house (only 10 more months of college!!!) Anyway, the case is in near mint...
I'm actually playing Stalker right now, and it's definitely a very tense game, especially the parts that are set in the underground facilities....Anyway, I'm not too far in though, so I still have to wait before I pass judgment, overall though I would say that it is a very unique and great game.
