I'm looking at cooling my rigs and I was wondering if the higher performance (and possibly quieter?) of this kit justified the increased cost over this one.
It seems like the newer one has a better CPU block as well as the much loved Laing D5. I will also be using this with 2 GTX 680 GPU...
Basically what the thread title says, I have an issue I can't seem to troubleshoot. At seemingly random times my web browser will start eating up 13-15% of my CPU and if I close and open another, it does the exact same thing. It doesn't matter if I'm using Chrome and then it does it and move to...
I've built up a gigantic supply of computer stuff of all sorts and I need to empty my office so I can actually move about. More will be put up as I take pictures and feel free to inquire about stuff, especially if it's a little older. I have quite a supply laying around.

My DIR-625 will not save a port forward. I enter it in the box and put the ports I want to forward in as well as the IP to forward to but as soon as I hit save it tells me to reboot and when I go back to port forwarding, it's no longer there.
I'm fresh out of options.
I set up Qwest DSL using an Actiontec 701 to do transparent bridging to a DD-WRT router doing PPPoE but after doing this, the Internet works perfectly but the only issue is that for some reason I"m missing, it's now 1/3 the speed it was before on the download.
I have the option to choose either setup when I put my rig back together (Mobo died :( ) since the other goes into my friends computer. Looking at benchmarks they look to be similar in performance, any recommendations, thoughts, etc?
Thank you in advance for the help.
Has Ubuntu started to actually support WWAN devices?
I'm looking to jump back on the Linux bandwagon with my backup laptop but currently that laptop provides internet via ICS and a WWAN card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thank You in advance
I have my loop setup but after adding PT Nuke I have a loop full of bubbles, it looks almost like someone put soap in my system.
I flushed everything clean and made sure it had NOTHING in it.
I ran it for a little while without PT Nuke and it looked fine.
I'm totally lost, help.
EDIT...
Does anyone know if this is possible on a P6T Deluxe?
I have it in an RC690 case and I was wondering if anyone has this cooler so I can get an idea of it's size.
Here are pictures of my case:
It's hard to see but there's about an inch between the PSU and the bottom GTX 280.
EDIT: I overlooked the fact that my onboard GPU doesn't actually disable on my 690G, it worked in my little brothers 750i
I had an extra 8600GTS lying around and figured "why not try and turn it into a FX1700?" I didn't expect it to work but now that I've gotten it fucked up, I can't flash...
I have the game sitting on my shelf and was wondering how it's doing and if it's worth spending another month on because I had a lot of fun while I played it but went to China for 5 weeks and cancel and haven't picked it up since.
Thank you in advanced!
I just got my P6T Deluxe and my GTX 280s and got everything put together.
The problem is when I boot up it detects both cards but I don't get the Set SLi option under 3d settings.
I've tried:
-Switching SLi connectors
-Updating the BIOS
-Updating drivers from 180.43 to 180.48
-Reseating...

My dad has a GTX 280 and a Samsung 305T right now but he's been itching to upgrade and he can get a 4870 512MB + cash for the GTX 280 and he can get another one. My question being would it be better to:
1. Keep the GTX 280 (not that anyone will chose this)
2. Go with the dual 4870 512MBs

I have Verizon Wireless EVDO card in a laptop and it's shared right now like this:

I added another GTX 280 to my rig and after I did so my PSU screeches when I play STALKER, It only really does it when they are medium load, if I start furmark or Crysis it doesn't do it at all.
So pretty much if the VRMs are giving each GPU ~40-50 Amps then it squeals BUT
if I fire up...
My 4870 keeps crashing to a black screen from LOTRO and displays D1601 (Crit Temp) but looking at my VRM and GPU temps in everest they look fine. I don't know why this keeps happening.

I let my little brother use my computer because his broke and he got a splotch on my monitor that I can't seem to get off. I've tried everything from lens cleaner to Isopropyl alcohol. Any suggestions?
My friend has just got a new video card and we just shut down the computer, pulled out my 8800GTS he was borrowing and then put in the 8600GTS I gave him. After that Rivatuner was being weird. After rebooting he could see the BIOS but after XP starts and should be loading (and it is, you can see...
My secondary desktop has Vista Ultimate 64 and recently started to crash on wake from S3 sleep. Every single time it BSODs and then restarts. The culpret is the Nvidia drivers but I've cleaned and reinstalled them and it continues to happen.

I installed Ubuntu and I wiped out Vista's bootloader and now I can't boot into either Ubuntu or Vista. I want to know if I there is any way I can fix it from either a Live CD or with a bootable disk of some sort.
I don't know which one to use, haven't moved into wireless much and I happen to have these laying around and I was wondering which one to use.
Thanks, apologies for the n00b question.
I need something to protect the bottom of my QX9650 because I've been wanting to lap it since it doesn't get amazing contact with the Apogee GTX. So any suggestions to protect the proc from damage while I do this?
I always get 5FPS according to FRAPS even on the lowest in game settings which is ridiculous considering my hardware. I'm running in compatibility mode for XP SP2 on Vista Ultimate x64.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have Vista Ultimate 64bit and today it started acting up. I went to restart because Task Manger wouldn't come up and it just said logging off for about 1 hour but nothing actually happened. Now I can't even log in.
Specs in sig.
Thank you in advanced.
EDIT: Safe mode is broken too.
I have 2 Dell 2007FP and I wanted to put them portrait along my 3008WFP and wanted to know if I could go SLi (I managed to get a 9800GX2 from my dad for my 8800GTS 512s) and I wanted to pic up another for awesome 30" gaming but I also want to use the two 20".

I need a cheap HDMI switcher to hook up a PS3 and Dish HD box to a Vizio 42" Plasma television. It only has 1 HDMI port so my parents have been just unplugging the cable from one to the other to use it but I would like to get an HDMI switcher instead. It needs to be cheap.
Thank you
I recently downloaded SP1 standalone and tried to install it but it failed both on shut down (failed on step 2) and on boot (failed on step 2, again). I got error code 00070059 so I used the install through WU and it failed again but this time with a different error code, 800700EA. After this WU...
