I really really hope Internet doesn't become a utility. I'd hate to lose my high speed internet and be forced to use a different provider at who knows the cost or speed.

That's my exact point that I've tried to make in other discussions/forums. This isn't a game you make sequels for. This is a totally new beast of a game for them. So running the game into the ground with too many sequels doesn't apply. Not making a sequel of a great game doesn't apply...

I can't wait to see what they do to Minecraft. If I don't like the changes I can keep playing the version I'm on currently. I can't see them spending 2.5 billion and letting it just die off. I don't keep up with a lot of gaming stuff but when is the last time Microsoft killed a game?

Xbox - Ipad - MAC/PC/Linux - all use different versions of the game. None of them can play together outside of their version. If you run a vanilla server without mods, you don't need much as far as resources go. MC's weakest link is disk IO since it's constantly reading/writing to the world...

I made the mistake of getting it on my first day off, with nothing else planned at all. Second day off I was done with the main quest finishing up the side quests and collections. I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a game.

Video does make a person feel old, but I'm not even 30 yet and we had one of those phones in the house. I didn't have a cell phone till 2003. By then though we had moved to touch tone phones.

yeah it's gotten pretty stale for a lot of people. I think it's basically the repetitive game play... That's why I thought I would try something different then most of the server we've hosted here before. This one is actually difficult to play.

Just read that forge won't update for 1.7 till next year most likely. They changed so much code forge has to be rewritten completely.

Do the BC mining wells work? I can't get mine to do anything. Has engine power, engine has power, has pipe to chest... nothing... Tried 2 different engines, still nothing...
