Well at the top of the page it only tells me how to find the week which is L637 so week 37 but is doesn't tell me how to find the stepping. Also I don't see any E6600 with my week the closest was week 36.
I just got my new E6600 from newegg and its FPO Batch#: L637F036 .
If I understand that correctly its stepping F o.O. So is this a new stepping and is it good or bad   .

In any case while I hope that the top of the line products beat their nvidia counterparts and refreshed counterparts I hope that ati's midrange cards best nvidia's far more. Most people can't afford the high priced stuff so the mid range has to dominate...
Does anyone know if nvidia is still working on g80 drivers for xp or are they focusing all efforts on vista. I for one am not touching vista with a ten foot pole until DDR3 becomes available 4 gig kits, an intel quad core that does not lose performance in 64 bit mode or an amd quad core that...
A 7900 gs would be you best bet then but the difference between a 8800 gtx and a 7900 gs is rediculous.
Edit: it may be worth it to wait a little bit longer till the 8600' come out and see their performance before you buy. Either that or buy and evga card and use thier upgrade program.
Sad thing is its not even the best card the 8800gtx is and that cost $500+.
But seeing as you apparently don't want to spend that much you need to give us a price range and change the topic title because all things considered the best pcie graphics card is the 8800gtx.
I would put the 8800gts ahead of the 7950gx2 just because its a sinlge gpu card so it does not have to worry about sli drivers for all games to get its max performance and with overclocking it can start to rival the 8800gtx.
Its times like this I wish I could go to the dell plant in the area and get a monitor if the have them there. I know they build computers there don't know if they have monitors there too. I wouldn't get the nec because its $599 and I might as well go for a 24" monitor for only $100 more.
I've been trying to find a good widescreen monitor for gaming and it seems that s-isp panels are the best for gaming. I know Dell's 2007's have s-ips but they also ship some other type panel as well which is the lottery that people have been talking about. What are some of the other s-ips panel...
Well I got the game after I got the video card so it came 1.14 already. I was browsing in xtremesystems and saw that some people had problems with their 8800gts' and a bios change fixed it so I tried it. Oddly enough it worked kind of going to check again. This is a bit late but here is a little...
Well I just got done reformating and installing windows + the 97.02 drivers (the ones I originally installed when I got the card) and the problem is still there. I would hate to have to rma my video card since newegg's return policy is over and evga has the 8800gtxs on backorder from the site...
Ok, I got my 8800gtx back in november 2 days before thanksgiving and all was well. Played Oblivion, dark messiah, GRAW, HL2 all at maxed settings no problem. Then my motherboard died so I had to put it up for a while till I got my rma replacement. Now that I got a replacement motherboard...
Yeah I bought my 8800GTX because I'm a basket case. I really should not upgrade my computer more but this is coming from a guy who wasn't going to upgrade after I got my computer up and running then turned around and bought another psu and a TJ09 case when my old psu and case aren't even 2...
yes it does focus on overclocking but if you look at the benchmarks they do show the performance at stock speeds as well. A 6300 ties or beats the intel pentium extreme edition 965 3.73GHz processor w/o overclocking in most cases.
