You could get a component-to-vga adapter, but what's the point when you can get a VGA cable for the 360?
You could also get a high quality capture card that can output in real time to the monitor.

it looks a lot better.
the s-video quality isn't very good. don't even bother with composite.
you can't do widescreen with the s-video.
I'll try the 4:3. That just scales it up at the same aspect ratio, right?
I have no problem with scaling, it's that it seemed to be scaling badly.

My problem is that I can't get the image to scale without losing the proper aspect ratio - it always seems stretched too far either...
