Well you were asking about a 360, so I figured you had one.

You could get a component-to-vga adapter, but what's the point when you can get a VGA cable for the 360? You could also get a high quality capture card that can output in real time to the monitor.

just get the 360 VGA cable. it looks a lot better. the s-video quality isn't very good. don't even bother with composite. you can't do widescreen with the s-video.

upgrade your computer to be able to run at native resolution. you won't regret it.

It's covered. It's also pretty obvious by the USB uplink thing for the monitor being right next to the DVI port and the two back USB ports.

I had the same problem running it at 1024x768 on my old CRT. It just seemed...squished. I'll try the 1280x768 tonight and get pics.

I'll try the 4:3. That just scales it up at the same aspect ratio, right? I have no problem with scaling, it's that it seemed to be scaling badly. Thanks.

I don't have pictures right now, but I'll take some tonight when the sun goes down (still no curtains). I'm not talking about jaggies, I can deal with those. My problem is that I can't get the image to scale without losing the proper aspect ratio - it always seems stretched too far either...
