Is there a freeware or something free similar to Partition Magic? I just installed Windows on a new drive, but forgot to create a second partition. I need to recover the missing 75gb floating around on my drive.
Thanks,
Yea, got these on a deal from Fry's @ 99 bucks a gig. Was too lazy to wait for newegg to deliver me some better. I might end up replace them in a year when I decide to replace the dual to quad.
Man, I have to say..getting it to 3.6Ghz is good. You shouldn't really complain. I am stuck unable to get mine beyond 2.5Ghz. I am tie down by the DDR2-533 Kingston Value Ram, so can't get my FSB beyond 320. I am running it at 310 right now.
I might get up to 350 if I tweak the memory...
I can't get anywhere close to it yet. I am bogged down by the DDR2-533 2GB Kingston Value Ram. So right now, I got it at 310FSB on the E6400, which gives me about 2.4Ghz.
I think someone said this earlier..
But I use a latex glove to spread it thin across the entire CPU surface. Put 4 small drop in each corner of the CPU and start spreading well until the entire thing is covered. The HSF contact to it should be good. Spread it thin...
I tried this over the...
I am really curious to know how the heck could some of you get 18c on idle through aircooling?
I've reseated the Themeraltake Big Typoon 5 times and each time wipe down the heatsink with acohol and reapplied a thin layer of AS5...the best i've gotten is 34c in a room averaging around 78F -...
Anyone tried using a Peltier pad between the CPU and HSF? I wonder if it works and how's the performance?

But don't you have to buy a new PC or motherboard or cpu set to be able to legally purchase the OEM version?
Otherwise, purchasing it by itself is against their policy?
Not sure about their LCD, but their CRT back in the days were pretty good. I would assume by now they would've been up there with CTX at least if not equal to viewsonic. They must've took a wrong turn somewhere along the way.
I've used them in the mid 90s and they were a pretty solid brand at...
Yea, $399 a pop is a bit pricey. Especially when you consider that + MS Office that is almost a grand..hahah
I am trying to save up for the next Photoshop CS3 ahaha
I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago and received it. It was the IPS panel. Got an opportunity to install Age of Empires III over the weekend and that played fairly well on 1680x1050 resolution. Using DV-I cable on the ATI X800XL PCI-E card...
Originally I was thinking of getting the Samsung...
I don't think you have too much to worry about this board. It doesn't have the fancy feature like the P5B, but it is a pretty stable board.
I am running it with the E6400 @ 320FSB now and it is pretty rock solid. I am not able to overclock higher because of using Kingston DDR2-533. So it is...
Hmm
I would spend the extra money and get the 2007FPW. For one, there is a large chance you will be getting the IPS panel and the quality is far better than the cheaper model.
The E207WFP is about the same price range as the Samsung 205BW. With that, it is a strong debate as to which one...
Hmmm...I can't wait to run vista, but the only problem is being able to warrant the purchase of it or not. I hate going through the whole activation shit again.
Yea, i think i hit the max @ 325FSB, once I get to 330, it locks up the mine I apply the clock speed. Rock solid @ 325, so I put it down to 320 right now. Which is running very nicely. It might go futher if I pump up the voltage. I might do that after I take off the HSF and recheck the seating...
Thanks, just redid it...Not sure why it say 1.26vcore...in the the CPU is set to use 1.275 right now. I believe that vcore reading might be something else. I saw it in the BIOS for the P5NSLI and the only other option is disable or set to 1.26.
Yea, used AS5...not sure what you mean by...
Here is mine..i think it is a bit hot, i might recheck the heatsink again tomorrow to tighten it..
Using Thermaltake Big Typhoon
Board: Asus P5NSLI
CPU: E6400
Overclocked 2.4Ghz @ 300 x 8
