p24 killed the bandwidth the standard pci slot. So high bandwidth pci cards did not work. ie tv tuners, and wireless nic cards. P25 seemed to fix this problem

A crappy workaround would be this. Place shorcuts to all your games in the quicklaunch toolbar. Then shrink your toolbar down to a manageable size. It the >> symbol on there. When you click the >> symbol it will be in a dropdown format.

The only problem i am having on the deskpro 4000's is dead cmos batteries every once in a while.

I have about 40 compaq deskpro 4000s still running. Users dont complain to much either, even though their neighbors have dell precision 690s. Its like 15x the processing power of the old deskpro 4000s.

I run raid 5 on ports 2 4 5. i use western digital 320GB RE sata 2.0 HDs. I have not had one problem or hicup. I have 2 ide dvd burners. I overclocked my cpu to 3.4GHz. My ram is running at 800Mhz. I havent had a change to play with those settings.

I would not want any of those parts in my machine. 1. soap doesnt evaporate. So it will be on your board forever. 2. your board are probably has severe corrosion. It doesnt matter how good you dry it, you will still leave contaminates on your boards.

Distilled water is the only viable water that would not cause corrosion on your motherboard. But if its not properly stored it will also cause corrosion. If you use any water besides distilled water your severely shrinking the life of your board.

never use water to clean any circuit board. Your best bet would be alcohol. Get a lent free cloth and apply the alcohol directly to the cloth not the motherboard. Be very gentle!

Man i just installed my tunic tower and i got amazing results. I had a zalman 9500 that would run about 64c on full load and idle about 54c. After installing the tuniq tower my pc idles around 34c and runs full load at 54. Also superfast shipping and great experience from epowerhousepc.com
