True, but with FTB being mod supported, they *should* actually get new things added to those mods and easily able to support new mods that arne't even out yet since they will have the support of existing mod creators.

Of all the people complaining that Mojang isn't working, they surely are releasing lots of stuff lately.

chances are you have a texture pack that doesn't have the food bar in it, so it's invisible. I had that same issue before. Once you run out of food, you still take damage until about half.
