Thanks for the tips.
Another thing i am wondering is that.
I have the 3 disk assigned as C,D and F drive. And i have 2 gig paging file on C and F drive.
So, if i use program that resides on F drive. Will it use F drives paging file or system disks one?
I have all my disk on sata ports on mobo, so they use same controller i think.
So basically there would be no use to use disk specific paging file?
Gonna use system disk one instead i think.
Not sure if this is right forum to ask this question but here goes.
Been wondering about paging files.
I have 3 hard disks and only system one has paging file currently.
But what if i enable paging file on different disk, does that disk data use that disk paging file or does it use system...
You might get even more off, i have x2 5600 idle temps at 28 C' and never goes above 35 in use. When i used air cooling my temps would go as high as 58 C', thought that was with basic stock cooler that come with cpu.
Ahhh, ok that clears it up.
Thought that if you once take out the block to change something on system etc, you cant use it again. As it would be ruined to be used again or something :)
Ahh.
What i meant was that i am thinking of adding GPU block on the loop and now wondering how to drain all of the liquid outta loop?
Knew about the "dont run pump without liquid" thingy.
Have kinda similar question. While getting rid of the coolant, can i start the pump only without powering up cpu to avoid damaging it when theres no coolant running just by plugging the mobo power connector out?
Lol, that was big sentence. :P
I think thats way too extensive maintenance. There is no wat that 1 month watercooling will need maintenance if built correctly. Though, who am i to tell anyone where to put their money on.

I have made few power demand test and not sure if they are accurate. So kinda needing advice. :)
Thinking of buying Corsair HX620
hmmm, so its as i feared, that psu can cause bad sectors. :(
and i am running test build right now without encryption.
p.s. The hard drives did made "click click" sound before freezing whole system.
Read about the "click of death" on few places. So it seems the hard drives has been...
Oh. And i currently have nexus nx-5000 PSU. Btw, how can faulty psu cause bad sectors on hd? I have allways thought that bad sectors are physical defect on hd and caused by shock or hit on disk. Or can corrupted data cause bad sectors?
What voltage i should get from hd power connector if i...
hmmm, have to do that.
If i need to buy new PSU is 620W enough for the following specs?
Amd x2 5600+
2 gig ram
geforce 8800 GTX 748 mb
4 x sata drive
1 x external firewire drive
dvd/cd combo
thermaltake liquid cooling
4 case fans
I tried different wattage calculators, but not...
Hmmm, is there any other way to test it than to get another PSU somehow?
And i doubt its PSU as its allways the same hardrive that gets "fried" 3 oldest sata drives i have are working fine without any bad sectors. Its been three times system disk(c: drive), and though its bad hard disk from...
Nope, havent overclocked anything. Just thought it would be some software as there was another hard disk on sata 0 port for over a year and its still fine. No bad sectors. And as soon as i installed new drive to sata 0 as system drive. Few days later there was bad sector on disk. And tested the...
Is there change that my motherboard has some kinda problem that destroys hd's?
As i have lost three hd's in 1 month. All the broken hd have been c: drives, so i am kinda bored to install windows again and again. Strange thing is that when i lost second new hd i changed it to sata drive from ide...
Yep, thats the case. Also remember, that if your tv is farther than 2 meters away from your computer, the DVI cable will lose signal strenght fast. After that picture looks bad.
I use Omega drivers, anyone know where i find timings menu in there? Forgot it. lol
Also what does "Adaptive AntiAliasing" mean?
Is there any way to force 4:3 ratio with drivers or something?
Playing older games that support max 800 x 600 resolution is pain the arse with scaling,
And...
Anyone found out allready what the "CLEAR ETI" at service menu means?
Also, has someone got the scaling toggle working?
When i set off the "scale image to panel size" button at ATI display setting and start any game that uses lower res, it will still scale image to full screen.
Seems not all screens buzz. Maybe its luck involved in getting better unit from store.
Also i wonder if the brighter lower part of screens is fault in monitor or typical for it.
Perhaps we can get new from guarantee?
Hmm, no buzzing here either. Using 30% brightness. I did notice that lower part of screen is brighter. :(. Also this one has one damn dead pixel in the center of the screen. Trying to get it changed to new one.
Also, thanks Shaman for the res. Is there one step lower wide res? Like 1200 or...
Hello!
Just a question.
In service menu, does anyone know what "CLEAR ETI" option means?
Also can someone be so kind that tell me what are the "wide screen" resolutions under the 1680 X 1050. I am too lazy to calculate them. I dont need all of them just the one down to 1xxx X xxx ones.
