Hi there. I couldn't find the free items thread. (Mods feel to move) Giving away my old Z5500 Logitech speaker set. It's just collecting dust in my garage so I'd rather someone enjoy them. They are in great workout order and I even have the original remote. Couple nicks and scratches for 15 year...
Found this guy sitting in a box. It's from an older build. Was meaning to build an older system for a friend but never got around to it.
It's an Asus Z97 board. The chip is a 4790k which I believe is one of, if not the fastest chip you could buy for this socket. Surprisingly still a pretty...
So even though I bought my wife a seven pro on release day, I myself hadn't planned on getting one because my six pro was working just fine. But unfortunately last week I dropped my phone and shattered the screen and rather than pay $300 to repair the screen, I decided, "what the heck. I'll just...

Hi everyone. I'm finally upgrading my tried and true Z-5500 Logitech speakers. These have served me perfectly for the last 13 years. Still in great working order. Everything together including remote/control pod/sub/5 speakers. Normal wear and tear for age but nothing major. Still sound amazing...
*SOLD*
I have a very lightly used MSI 3090 Ventus card for sale. Never got around to doing any real gaming on it. Probably has less than 20 hours total use on it. Perfect condition. Never overclocked or used for mining.

Just installed the 215mb update. Phone took a while to "optimize" after installing.
Maybe it's the placebo effect but the Finger print scanner does seem noticeably better. If nothing else, that makes it a good update. Hopefully nothing else is borked.
Interesting read. Pretty much confirmed what my untrained eye told me....the pro display is markedly better than the 6 display.

Let's see, I see Change3D, I look up and see it's a pixel thread, and I know before even reading it that he's going to be crapping all over the phone. And true to form Change3D never fails to disappoint. I mean he's only been doing it for how many years now? I can pretty much make a mad lib out...
I installed the newest update today targeted specifically for the fingerprint scanner. It does seem to help.
"Surprise Pixel 6 update improves fingerprint scanner performance | Engadget" https://www.engadget.com/googles-surprise-pixel-6-patch-improves-the-fingerprint-scanner-113422282.html
That is correct. Most even half way modern Android phones should allow this. I assume most people already know but I'm case you don't, to unlock developer options just go to about phone, scroll down to "Build number" and keep tapping Build number until it tells you that you have unlocked...
Do you keep the transition animations at default 1? I've been turning down all 3 settings to .5. Been doing that for a while on all my phones. Just makes it feel much snappier and responsive.
I had the presidio for my pixel 2xl as well. It was a good case but eventually it started to fall apart a little. The little rubber side strips started to detach. But that was after probably a year of continuous use.
I currently have the Spigen rugged armor. Similar to your liquid armour review it's just okay for me.
I ordered a couple Rhinoshield cases for my wife and I about 3 weeks and they're finally arriving on Monday. I'm hoping they offer a little better protection and grip. I'm going to be adding an...
Glad you found what you wanted. If the 4xl is your sweet spot size wise then yeah the 6 should be perfect.
Shouldn't be any difference in performance. Yeah the pro has 4 more gbs of ram but the use cases where those 4 gbs will be missed is probably extremely rare.
As far as the screen goes...
I just think you need to use the phone for a solid week and get acclimated to it. You've barely had it for what a couple days?
Also the normal 6 has an overall smaller footprint than the pixel 4XL so if the 4xl feels great to you size wise the regular 6 should also feel great. But yes I agree...
Batter life seems to be improving for me. Phone has been off the charger since 6 this morning and it's almost 10 at night now. I did a lot of travelling today and I absolutely hammered the phone today. Lots of gps, lots of video, web browsing, picture taking etc. Phone is down to 8% and I hit 8...
Yup, really bad when you're in bed late at night. Just one more reason why I turned on smart lock while I'm home and I just bypass the fingerprint scanner.
You literally have only posted on here to crap on this phone. You're entitled to your opinion but your credibility is close to zero when you post absolutely nothing positive about the phone and have only negative things to say. Obviously no phone is perfect and I'll be the first to point out the...
Really love this phone. Only thing I dislike is the fingerprint reader. It's poor. I turned on smart lock so that while I'm home I don't have to use the fingerprint scanner. Seems to be a good compromise.
Just give in to the dark side and start using gesture navigation. It's actually quite lovely on this phone. Just takes a few days to get used to then it's completely 2nd nature.
Oh I recommend disabling 5g. The implementation is just not there yet and it's not worth it for similar speeds and worse battery life.

As someone with small hands, there's no doubt that a small phone would definitely feel better in hand but I completely agree this is the first pixel device that truly feels like a premium device. The screen, haptics, build quality are all excellent.
Oh and another thing there is what appears to be a film over the camera module. I tried to take it off at first but the I realized it may be just where the seams meet and not an actual film. Apparently I'm not the only one who was confused...
Couple early observations. So far my only real complaint, and it's not huge thing and it's something I knew going in is that the fingerprint reader feels like a generation or two old. Even with each thumb registered twice for better accuracy it still does miss my print occasionally. I'd say it's...
So I'm ending my day with 4 hrs and 5 minutes of on screen Time....and I'm down to 11%.
But before you despair I took the phone out of the box and didn't charge it. It started at only 60% battery.
So it's only the first day and it's still obviously very early but I would say that's very good.
No it's definitely a double tap. It specifies in the next screen. Also you can change it to do various things, bring up assistant, open a specific app, etc. Doesn't have to be a screenshot if you don't want to.
